    摘要: A signal-to-interference power ratio (SIR) estimation method implementable in a telecommunication system is provided. The proposed SIR estimation method estimates SIR from received pilot symbols of a plurality of time intervals of a frame and is capable of taking into account different transmit powers of pilot symbols of different time intervals which would normally degrade the SIR estimate.

    摘要: A method for compensating the bias in estimates by utilizing the configured channel estimation filter bank. The method comprises selecting a filter from a predefined set of filters based on channel parameters, and producing at least one radio channel coefficient by applying the selected filter. An input to the filter comprises raw channel estimates, and an output of the filter comprises at least one biased channel coefficient after filtering. The method further comprises producing a radio link quality based on the at least one biased channel coefficient and/or the selected filter. During the estimation, the method comprises removing bias based on the selected filter and/or a filter configuration.

A receiver comprises square-root raised cosine filter bank, each filter of the filter bank configured to filter a subband, and an adder configured to add up the output signals of one or more filters of the filter bank to obtain a sum signal, the sum of the subbands of the one or more filters being equal to the transmission bandwidth of the received signal. A transmitter comprises a transmission filter, the roll-off factor of the transmission filter being selected on the basis of the bandwidth of the signal to be transmitted.

    摘要: The present invention relates to integrated circuit with reduced leakage power and in particular to a methodology for retaining an operational state of at least a part of the integrated circuit while the part is in standby/low power mode. In detail, the inventive methodology is based on the use of scan chains being implemented in the integrated circuit for production testing purposes. Via the scan chains circuit-internal state-variable memory element content is read out and/or written in such that the operational state of for instance a specific part (power domain) of the integrated circuit may be captured on the basis of the circuit internal contents, retained in an adequately provided data storage and afterwards scanned into the specific part of the integrated circuit to restore the operational state thereof.

    摘要: An effective SINR mapping based approach can be used to average the MI or RBIR values corresponding to narrowband SINR values in frequency between the resource blocks of the E-UTRA grid structure and then to estimate the downlink radio link quality from the averaged mutual information domain value by mapping it back to wideband SINR value covering the whole or partial E-UTRA system bandwidth. This wideband SINR value can then be further averaged in time and used as a downlink radio link quality estimate for E-UTRA radio link monitoring. Mutual information based effective SINR mapping is one example of an effective SINR mapping based approach.

    摘要: An interference suppression scheme is provided for a radio receiver. According to the provided interference suppression scheme, the bandwidth of a received pilot signal and a data signal is divided into a plurality of frequency sub-bands. The pilot signal and the data signal have been transmitted according to single carrier data transmission technology. Interference parameters are calculated for each frequency sub-band separately. Interference suppression may be carried out jointly or separately for each frequency sub-band. After the interference suppression, the frequency sub-bands are combined. A filter bank may be used for dividing the total frequency band into sub-bands.
