摘要: Disclosed are a wireless transmitter and a reference signal transmission method that improve channel estimation accuracy. In a terminal, which transmits a reference signal using n (n is a non-negative integer 2 or greater) band blocks (which correspond to clusters here), which are disposed with spaces therebetween in a frequency direction, a reference signal controller switches the reference signal formation method of a reference signal generator between a first formation method and a second formation method based on the number (n) of band blocks. In addition, a threshold value setting unit adjusts a switching threshold value based on the frequency spacing between band blocks. Thus, the reference signal formation method can be selected with good accuracy and, as a result, channel estimation accuracy is further improved.

摘要: A modified orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) communication system based on virtual decomposition of the channel is proposed. The system is fully compatible with standard OFDM transmitters and maintains several blocks of standard OFDM receivers. The proposed approach achieves also incoherent reception of multicarrier signals even with a simple autocovariance DPSK detector. This novel system substantially surpasses the performance of current approaches while requiring low computational complexity. Two preferred embodiments are described; one with coherent reception using pilot signals, and the second with incoherent receiver of differentially encoded signals.

摘要: The embodiment of the disclosure discloses a method and device for eliminating Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI) and a computer storage medium. The method for eliminating the ICI includes that: a user frequency offset value is acquired; an order of a filter is determined according to the user frequency offset value; a filter coefficient is constructed according to the order of the filter; user carrier data is received; and ICI elimination is performed on a target subcarrier according to frequency-domain data on adjacent subcarriers of the target subcarrier and filter coefficients of corresponding positions of the adjacent subcarriers, wherein the target subcarrier is any carrier in the user carrier data.

摘要: The embodiments herein use a factorization based technique for determining filter coefficients for a subset of the subcarriers in a wireless frequency band. Once the filter coefficients for the subset of the subcarriers are calculated, the network device uses these filter coefficients to identify the filter coefficients in a neighboring subcarrier. To do so, the network device uses pseudo-inverse iteration to convert the already calculated filter coefficients into filter coefficients for a neighboring subcarrier. The network device can repeat this process for the next set of neighboring subcarriers until all the filter coefficients have been calculated.

摘要: Methods and systems for estimating and mitigating OFDM interference to enable reliable communications with minimal a priori knowledge of the interfering OFDM signal are presented. Embodiments of the present invention hypothesize modulation symbols from a reference signal set, which may not be identical to the interference signal set, and compute a channel sequence to minimize an error between the observed samples and a product of the channel sequence and the hypothesized modulation symbols. The interfering OFDM signal may be estimated and mitigated with no reliance on knowledge of the interference signal set, although this may result in the inability to decode and demodulate the interfering OFDM signal when embodiments of the present invention are extended from single-input single-output systems to multiple-input single-output systems.

摘要: Systems and methods for detecting data in a received multiple-input-multiple-output signal are provided. N signals are received from N antennas, with M being greater than or equal to three. The N signals form a vector y and are associated with M sets of data values, where the M sets of data values form a vector x. A channel matrix (H) is estimated, and a QR decomposition of the channel matrix is performed, such that H=QR. The vector y is transformed into a vector z according to z=QHy. The R matrix and the rotated signal vector z are transformed such that one or more elements of the R matrix having complex number values are set equal to zero. Distance values are calculated using the transformed vector z and the vector x. Log likelihood ratio (LLR) values are calculated based on the distance values.

摘要: When processing a signal received wirelessly a gain is applied to a reference signal and the wireless channel over which a received signal passed is estimated using the reference signal with the applied gain. Equalization values obtained from the estimating are adjusted to remove effects of the applied gain. Those adjusted equalization values are then used to equalize at least a data portion of the received signal. The results are stored in a computer readable memory, such as a buffer of a decoder also within the same receiver. Embodiments describe the received signal can be a subframe in which the reference signal is a DMRS or similar that occupies an entire symbol position thereof, as well as a single symbol in which the reference signal is a pilot sequence or pilot samples and the data portion is also within that same single symbol.
