Abstract:
Method and system for managing a storage environment having a cluster based storage system and a non-cluster based storage system is provided. A management application collects information regarding components of both the cluster based storage system and the non-cluster based storage system. A layout having a plurality of data structures is generated and maintained by the management application. The data structures include information regarding the components and their relationships with each other, if any. The layout is used for responding to user requests and presenting an integrated view of the storage environment on a display device with selectable options for selecting the cluster based storage system components and the non-cluster based storage system components.

Abstract:
An embodiment of a network manager permits a resource group administrator (with resource group level permissions but without global permissions) to add a global object to his/her resource group as a managed object, without requiring the administrator to have a global permission, as discussed further below. An embodiment of the network manager permits a resource group administrator to also edit the configuration settings that are attached to his/her resource group without requiring the administrator to have a global permission.

Abstract:
The disclosure relates to Cerberus/Coco polypeptides or variants thereof for use in treating a variety of disorders associated with myostatin, nodal and GDF-11.
Abstract:
Provided herein are glycovariant Fc fusion proteins having increased serum half lives. Also provided are methods for increasing the serum half life of an Fc fusion protein by introducing one or more non-endogenous glycosylation sites.
Abstract:
In certain aspects, the present invention provides compositions and methods for promoting bone growth and increasing bone density, as well as for the treatment of multiple myeloma.
Abstract:
In certain aspects, the present disclosure relates to the insight that a polypeptide comprising a ligand-binding portion of the extracellular domain of activin-like kinase I (ALK1) polypeptide may be used to inhibit angiogenesis in vivo, particularly in mammals suffering angiogenesis-related disorders. Additionally, the disclosure demonstrates that inhibitors of ALK1 may be used to increase pericyte coverage in vascularized tissues, including tumors and the retina. The disclosure also identifies ligands for ALK1 and demonstrates that such ligands have pro-angiogenic activity, and describes antibodies that inhibit receptor-ligand interaction.
Abstract:
Method and system for incremental backup of data containers with fixed length records is provided. Initially, a backup application copies all stored data containers to create an initial backup container. A data structure corresponding to the first backup operation is also created. The data structure maintains unique file identifiers for each data container and information regarding when a record was added. The data structure is created and maintained by an application that also creates, updates, and modifies the fixed length records. The application updates the base data structure when records are added to a data container, after the initial backup. For a next backup operation, the initial data structure is compared to an updated data structure that is current at the next backup time. The comparison identifies the new records that were added (or updated) since the initial backup operation. The backup application then incrementally copies the new records.
