    摘要: The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display and a manufacturing method thereof. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display, comprising: forming a thin film transistor on a substrate; forming a passivation layer on the thin film transistor; forming a first electrode and a second electrode generating a horizontal electric field on the passivation layer; forming a sacrificial layer on the second electrode; forming a roof layer on the sacrificial layer; forming a plurality of microcavities in which a liquid crystal injection hole is formed by removing the sacrificial layer; injecting a photo-alignment material into the microcavity; irradiating the photo-alignment material with polarized light of a first wavelength and polarized light of a second wavelength; baking the photo-alignment material; and injecting a liquid crystal material into the plurality of microcavities.
