    Abstract: A method for driving a display device is performed by the display device. The method includes: displaying a first image including user convenience information through a display panel; generating sensing data corresponding to a fingerprint sensing area by using a photoelectric sensor; and determining whether a sensed fingerprint corresponding to the sensing data is a fake fingerprint by comparing expected sensing light illuminance information based on the first image with sensed light illuminance information of the sensing data. The first image includes a first color pattern in the fingerprint sensing area of the display panel. A fake-determination image pattern includes the first color pattern and a second color pattern different from the first color pattern.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display layer disposed on a substrate. The display layer includes a light emitting elements. A sensor is disposed on the display layer. Sensing lines of the sensor are disposed outside touch electrodes of the sensor and are electrically connected to the touch electrodes. A gesture sensor electrode of the sensor is disposed outside the sensing lines. In a plan view, the gesture sensor electrode does not overlap a conductor which provide a constant voltage to the light emitting elements.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting display device includes: pixels including driving transistors positioned in regions divided by scan lines and data lines; a data accumulating unit arranged to accumulate first data; a first storage unit storing current and voltage change information corresponding to a degradation of an organic light emitting diode (OLED); a second storage unit storing a compensation value corresponding at least partially to channel length modulation of the driving transistors; and a timing controller programmed to carry out an altering of first data corresponding to an ith pixel so as to generate second data to be supplied to the ith pixel, the altering carried out according to: accumulation stress information for the ith pixel, the accumulation stress information corresponding to the accumulated first data and being stored in the data accumulating unit, the current and voltage change information, and a compensation value corresponding to the ith pixel.
