Abstract: A display device and an electronic device include an input sensing device. Touch sensor electrodes of the input sensing device are disposed in a first sensing area of the base layer. Gesture sensor electrodes are disposed in a second sensing area of the base layer that surrounds the first sensing area, and are electrically insulated from the touch sensor electrodes. First pads and second pads are disposed in a non-sensing area of the base layer that is located at one side of the second sensing area. Touch sensing lines connect the touch sensor electrodes and the first pads to each other. Gesture sensing lines connect the gesture sensor electrodes and the second pads to each other. One of the gesture sensor electrodes includes sub-electrodes separated from each other by the touch sensing lines and a bridge that connects adjacent sub-electrodes to each other.

Abstract: A touch screen panel and a driving method thereof. The touch screen panel includes a touch pad unit including a plurality of receiver pads and a plurality of transmitter pads combined with the receiver pads, and a touch sensing unit for determining a touch position, based on changes in mutual capacitance between the receiver pads and the transmitter pads. The touch sensing unit determines maximum values for every column by scanning touch sensing signals in the column direction of the touch pad unit, decides whether rows having maximum values for every column are the same, when the rows having the maximum values for every column are not the same, determines a greatest value by comparing all values of the scanned touch sensing signals, and determines touch coordinates through a combination of transmitter and receiver pads corresponding to the position at which the greatest value exists.

Abstract: A display device includes a display layer disposed on a substrate. The display layer includes a light emitting elements. A sensor is disposed on the display layer. Sensing lines of the sensor are disposed outside touch electrodes of the sensor and are electrically connected to the touch electrodes. A gesture sensor electrode of the sensor is disposed outside the sensing lines. In a plan view, the gesture sensor electrode does not overlap a conductor which provide a constant voltage to the light emitting elements.
