    Abstract: A system and a method of providing location-based information, through a location-based display, targeted content detected by using information about a user who checks in or checks out a zone based on the location-based display are provided. A server may be configured to receive, in real time, information about a first user and identification (ID) information of the zone from a computing device through a first communication unit as check-in or check-out of the computing device with respect to the zone is detected, obtain content database (DB) information from an external device through a second communication unit by using the ID information of the zone, detect targeted content by using the information about the first user and the content DB information, and transmit the targeted content to a display provided in the zone through the first communication unit.
