Abstract: An electronic device according to an embodiment may comprise: at least one antenna; a first communication circuit connected to the at least one antenna and configured to communicate using a long term evolution (LTE) signal in a licensed band and an LTE signal in an unlicensed band; and a second communication circuit connected to the first communication circuit and at least a part of the at least one antenna, and configured to communicate using a Wi-Fi signal in the unlicensed band. The first communication circuit is configured to, acquire, from the second communication circuit, information on state of a channel in the unlicensed band associated with the first communication circuit and the second communication circuit, and determine a time interval associated with processing of the LTE signal in the unlicensed band. Various other embodiments recognized from the specification are also possible.

The processor is also configured to adjust a time when transmission of the first data packet is started, based on the scheduling information.

Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a communication circuitry that supports to transmit and receive data with a base station on a licensed band and an unlicensed band, a processor, and a memory electrically connected with the processor. The memory stores instructions, when executed, causing the processor to configure a first cell on a licensed band and configure a second cell on an unlicensed band, among a plurality of cells associated with the base station, trigger an unlicensed band preferred mode, and transmit control information for inducing to increase an amount of data transmitted and received over the unlicensed band to the base station, based on the triggering of the unlicensed band preferred mode. In addition, various embodiments recognized through the specification are possible.
