An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a global positioning system (GPS) module, a communication module, and a processor functionally connected to the GPS module and the communication module. The processor is configured to obtain second location information by refining the first location information, when the second location information is first sensitive information, filter the second location, and when the second location information is not the first sensitive information, convert the second location information into point-of-interest (POI) information on the basis of a mapping table, when the POI information is second sensitive information, filter the POI information, when the POI information is not the second sensitive information, transmit the POI information to an external electronic device through the communication module, and receive update information from the external electronic device in response to the transmission of the POI information.
Abstract:
A method of predicting a location of a rendezvous and an electronic device for providing the same are provided. The electronic device includes a display unit configured to display a screen executing a schedule management service application and a predicted rendezvous, a storage unit configured to store schedule information input into the application, data related to a place and a region, and a user location history, and a controller configured to recognize the input of the schedule information, score place data based on a schedule place name of the schedule information, and predict a rendezvous based on at least one piece of place data having a high score among the pieces of scored place data.

An electronic device may include a wireless communication circuit, a memory, and a processor. The memory may store instructions that allow, when executed, the processor to: obtain context information associated with the state of the electronic device, and contents information being provided by the electronic device; extracting first keywords on the basis of the context information and the contents information; analyze the keyword level for the first keywords; changing the first keywords into a superordinate concept according to preset keyword levels to obtain second keywords; and transmit the second keywords to at least one server by using the wireless communication circuit. The electronic device includes a display, a communication module, at least one processor operatively connected to the display and the communication module, and a memory operatively connected to the at least one processor, and the memory may store instructions which, when executed, cause the at least one processor to display, on the display, one or more keywords for searching for a content, to arrange and display, according to a designated criterion, one or more first categories among subordinate categories associated with the first keyword and one or more first contents associated with the first keyword, in response to identifying that a first keyword is selected among the one or more keywords, to arrange and display, according to the designated criterion, one or more second categories among subordinate categories associated with a selected category and one or more second contents associated with the selected category in the case that a selection input to one of the one or more first categories is identified, and to provide the selected content in the case that a selection input to one of the one or more first contents is identified.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an electronic device and a method for managing a contact thereof. The electronic device can include: at least one processor, and a memory operatively coupled to the at least one processor. The memory can store instructions which, when executed, cause the at least one processor to: collect data related to a contact of a specified user, extract at least one piece of individual feature information by analyzing the collected data, provide differentiated individual identity information by comparing the extracted individual feature information with individual feature information of other users, and store the provided individual identity information in the memory in conjunction with the contact of the specific user.

An electronic device may include communication circuitry, for communicating with at least one external electronic device; and at least one processor operatively connected to the communication module. The at least one processor may be configured to: acquire transition information related to transitions between pieces of content for each content category; generate, based on the transition information, a plurality of content sequences indicating pieces of interrelated content in at least one content category; and provide the external electronic device with at least some of the plurality of content sequences, which are used to provide a recommended content sequence in the external electronic device.
