Abstract:
This disclosure concerns the playback of audio, e.g. in the form of music. More particularly, the disclosure concerns the playback of streamed audio. In one example embodiment, there is a method of operating an electronic device for playback of an audio stream. While an audio stream is being played, for example at a user interface of the electronic device, a first request to adjust an energy level (e.g., a tempo) of the played audio stream is received. In response to receiving the first request, the energy level (e.g., the tempo) of the played audio stream is adjusted.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to streaming of media content. In one example embodiment, an electronic device may comprise a user interface, a processor and a memory. The memory may comprise computer program code, which, when run in the processor causes the electronic device to: receive a first request requesting a first media content to be complemented with a second media content, the second media content being associated with the first media content; in response to receiving the first request, send, to a second electronic device, a second request for the first media content complemented with the second media content. Furthermore, the computer program code causes the electronic device to: receive, from the second electronic device, a media stream comprising the first media content and the second media content; and play the first media content of the received media stream complemented with the second media content of the received media stream.
Abstract:
This disclosure concerns the playback of audio content, e.g. in the form of music. More particularly, the disclosure concerns the playback of streamed audio. In one example embodiment, there is a method of operating an electronic device for dynamically controlling a playlist including one or several audio items. A request to adjust an energy level (e.g. a tempo) associated with the playlist is received. In response to receiving this request, the playlist is adjusted in accordance with the requested energy level (e.g., the tempo).

Abstract:
A method comprises obtaining a playlist that comprises a plurality of audio items, and dividing the playlist into a plurality of coherent groups, wherein each coherent group comprises a respective sequence of audio items of the plurality of audio items with a common attribute. For a respective coherent group of the plurality of coherent groups, the method comprises determining a parameter value of a first audio item of the respective sequence and adjusting a parameter value of a second audio item of the respective sequence based on the determined parameter value of the first audio item, to form a transition between the first and second audio items. The first and second audio items are adjacent in the respective sequence. The transition is provided to a second electronic device for playback.
Abstract:
This disclosure concerns the providing of media, and more particularly to the streaming of media. In accordance with an example embodiment, a visual queue of media items (e.g. media items B and C) to be played next may be displayed at a user interface of the electronic device. Each one of the media items is associated with media content of a respective media content stream. While a media content stream is being played (e.g., a media content stream associated with media item A), a request to play another media content stream in accordance with a user preference may be received by the electronic device. This request may, for example, be a user selection of one of the available mood options. In response to receiving this request, the visual queue of the media items to be played next can be adjusted, and thus changed, in dependence of the selected mood option.
