Abstract: An ophthalmic system of an embodiment includes a slit lamp microscope, three dimensional image constructing unit, rendering processor, display controller, report creating unit, and report output unit. The slit lamp microscope includes a front image acquiring unit that photographs an anterior eye segment to acquire a front image, and an image collecting unit that photographs the anterior eye segment with slit light to collect a plurality of images. The three dimensional image constructing unit constructs a three dimensional image based on the collected images. The rendering processor applies rendering to the three dimensional image to construct a rendered image. The display controller displays the front image and the rendered image on a display device. The report creating unit includes a user interface used for creating a report on information displayed. The report output unit outputs the report.

Abstract: An ophthalmic system of an embodiment includes a slit lamp microscope and an information processing apparatus. The slit lamp microscope includes an image acquisition device that acquires a three dimensional image by photographing a subject's eye, and a first communication device that transmits the three dimensional image to the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes a second communication device that receives the three dimensional image transmitted by the first communication device, a display controller that displays a first image based on the three dimensional image on a display device, a partial region designation processor that designates a partial region of the first image, and a rendering processor that renders the three dimensional image based on the partial region to construct a second image. The display controller displays the second image on the display device.

Abstract: An OCT apparatus of an exemplary aspect includes an OCT scanner, image data generating unit, registration unit, and image data composing unit. The OCT scanner is configured to acquire three dimensional data sets by applying an OCT scan to mutually different three dimensional regions of a sample. The image data generating unit is configured to generate a plurality of pieces of image data from the three dimensional data sets. The registration unit is configured to perform a first registration between the plurality of pieces of image data by applying an image correlation calculation to each of overlap regions in the plurality of pieces of image data. The image data composing unit is configured to compose the plurality of pieces of image data based on a result of the first registration.

Abstract: In an ophthalmic system of some embodiments, ophthalmic imaging apparatuses include slit lamp microscopes, and information processing system is connected to each ophthalmic imaging apparatus via a communication path. Each ophthalmic imaging apparatus is configured to acquire a three dimensional image by photographing a subject's eye, and transmit the three dimensional image to the information processing system. The information processing system is configured to receive the three dimensional image, store three dimensional images received, perform machine learning and/or data mining based on the three dimensional images, store knowledge acquired by the machine learning and/or data mining, and generate diagnosis support information by performing inference based on a three dimensional image of a subject's eye transmitted from one of the slit lamp microscopes knowledge stored in the knowledge storage.
