摘要: The solution of the problem to be solved is the provision of a means for determining timing both accurately and securely at which a treatment is shifted from gripping and coagulation (hemostasis or sealing) to resection by using a multifunctional treatment tool capable of exfoliation, gripping, coagulation (hemostasis or sealing) and resection of the treated region in a bipolar microwave treatment tool. A microwave surgical device control method and a device, in which the completion of coagulation (hemostasis or sealing) of tissue is detected and a microwave oscillation output is controlled by making use of the change in the direct current electric resistance value due to the reduction in the amount of water as the temperature rise of the tissue at the time of heating and coagulation of the tissue in the treated region with microwaves.

摘要: Provided is a medical treatment device capable of eliminating inconvenience of manipulation in actual clinical use, and ensuring a visual field by introducing a curve in the vicinity of an electrode portion of an outer cylindrical tube. The medical treatment device has the following structure: an electrode portion including a first electrode and a second electrode arranged opposed to the first electrode, the electrode portion having a grasping function, a coagulating function, and a cutting function; an operation portion for executing drive of the respective functions of the first electrode and the second electrode; a shaft portion for connecting the electrode portion and the operation portion; a connector portion connectable to a microwave power source; and a conductive rod, which is provided inside the shaft portion, for transmitting a microwave to the electrode portion, the medical treatment device utilizing the microwave being configured to: hold body tissue between the first electrode and the second electrode; coagulate the body tissue by supplying the microwave to the first electrode and the second electrode; and cut the body tissue through a mutual action of the first electrode and the second electrode, in which the shaft portion and the electrode portion are connected to each other with a bent holder.

摘要: In order to reliably cut off a living tissue by using a microwave in a surgical operation without causing excessive damage to the living tissue or without bleeding, it is necessary to suppress energy attenuation until the microwave reaches electrode blades for nipping, coagulating, and cutting off a tissue. However, it is difficult to suppress the energy attenuation. The present invention relates to a medical treatment device capable of reliably cutting off a living tissue by using a microwave while sealing vasculature by coagulating the living tissue without excessively damaging the living tissue. Specifically, the present invention relates to a medical treatment device including a movable first electrode blade connected to an external conductor and a fixed second electrode blade connected directly to a central electrode. The medical treatment device has a function of holding a living tissue between the movable first electrode blade and the fixed second electrode blade, coagulating the living tissue by supplying a microwave from the fixed second electrode blade, and cutting off the living tissue by turning the movable first electrode blade. In the medical treatment device, a turning mechanism for the movable first electrode blade is arranged at a certain clearance from the central electrode.

摘要: Provided is an operating tool for organism, in particular, a microwave endoscope forceps. In terms of the operating tool for organism, provided is a multifunctional operating tool which has holding and scissors functions simultaneously, and may further perform coagulation (tissue fixation) by microwaves. The operating tool has no definite fulcrum, and has both the holding and scissors functions with a simple structure by deforming a long-track rod called beam. Two blades are insulated from each other so as to allow microwave current supply. With this structure, an operating tool having three functions, i.e., “a holding function”, “a coagulating function”, and “a cutting function” with a single tool may be developed.

摘要: It is an object to provide a surgical instrument capable of locally applying microwaves to a minute biological tissue. It has been found that microwaves can be transmitted to a tip of a tapered coaxial body (9) and that microwaves are radiated from the entire central conductor exposed in a major axis direction by decreasing a sectional area (preferably diameter) of a central conductor (1) and a sectional area (preferably inner diameter) of an external conductor gradually or in a step-by-step manner with a ratio between the sectional area (diameter) of the central conductor (1) and the sectional area (inner diameter) of the external conductor being set to be constant, thereby achieving the present invention.
