    摘要: The present disclosure provides for the construction and use of a set of Zero-Correlation-Zone (ZCZ) Concatenated Complementary Pair (CCP) sequences with zero-correlation-zone range greater than one or with zero-correlation-zone range equal to one and the sequence set size greater than two. Complementary pair sequences A and B are selected and, for each member of the set of ZCZ CCP sequences, sign sequences pA and pB are combined with the complementary pair sequences to form a member ZCZ CCP sequence of the set. A ZCZ CCP sequence modified by propagation over a communication channel may be identified by cross-correlation with ZCZ CCP sequences of the set. A set of sign sequences may be constructed by recursive expansion from an initial set or found by a computer search. The sequences may be used in a transceiver of a portable electronic device or other communication device.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides for a method and apparatus for efficient cross-correlation between a reference sequence and a received sequence in a wireless communication system. The reference sequence includes a concatenation of sign-adjusted sub-sequences, the sign adjustments determined by a first sign sequence of a set of sign sequences. For example, the reference sequence may be an alternating concatenation of sign-adjusted Golay complementary pair sub-sequences. The received sequence is shifted to provide a plurality of time shifted sequences that are then cross-correlated with the sub-sequences to form a set of partial cross-correlations. The partial cross-correlations are sign-adjusted using the first sign sequence and combined to produce the cross-correlation between the reference sequence and the received sequence. The cross-correlations so produced may be used for channel signature (e.g. PHY-type) identification and/or channel impulse response estimation.

    摘要: A wireless hands-free device is operable to communicate with a mobile communication device over a short-range wireless link. The hands-free device includes a transceiver, a memory, a delayed answering mode actuator (DAMA), and a processing device. The transceiver is operable to receive incoming call information from the mobile device over the short-range link. The incoming call information corresponds to an incoming call received by the mobile device over a wireless wide area network. The memory is operable to store one or more pre-recorded audio messages. The DAMA is activatable by a user of the hands-free device. The processing device is operable to: detect activation of the DAMA after receipt of the incoming call information, retrieve at least one pre-recorded audio message responsive to detecting activation of the DAMA, and provide the retrieved, pre-recorded audio message(s) to the transceiver for subsequent transmission to the mobile device over the short-range link.
