摘要: A magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus includes a head for performing recording/reproducing, a chassis for positioning the head, a cassette holder for positioning a cassette on the chassis, the cassette including an opening portion through which a recording medium is received or drawn out, a cassette holder supporting member for supporting the cassette holder on the chassis, and a casing which contains these component parts. The cassette holder supporting member has a substantially U-shape, facing three side surfaces of the cassette except the opening portion, and includes integrally formed fastening portions to be secured on the casing. The cassette holder supporting member is fastened to the casing through two fastening portions, and the chassis is directly fastened to the casing in one portion of the chassis.

摘要: A rotating electrical machine main body 40 includes a rotor 4 having a fan, a stator 1, and housings 2, 3. An inverter unit 30 includes a case 14 and a plurality of switching semiconductor devices 15. The rotating electrical machine main body 40 and the inverter unit 30 are coupled with each other when the case 14 is connected to the housing 3. A cooling air circulated by rotation of a fan 12a cools the inverter unit 30 before flowing into the housing. Part of the case 14 is disposed between the rotating electrical machine main body 40 and the switching semiconductor devices 15, preventing thermal radiation radiated (or irradiated) from the rotating electrical machine main body 40 from reaching the switching semiconductor devices 15.

摘要: A disk drive is realized, which omits running-in for stabilizing a change in a correcting function produced by sliding between balls and a rolling groove in an unbalance correcting mechanism, and prevents immobility and straying of balls, and which comprises a unit mechanism assembled by using 12 balls subjected to surface treatment with heptadecafluorodecyltrimethoxysilane and a turntable plated with a chemical nickel plating containing phosphorus and boron to have a thickness of 5 &mgr;m and by injecting 1 microliter of ester oil into the rolling groove, and further comprises a recess formed in a sidewall of the rolling groove of the unbalance correcting mechanism to prolong the service life of the correcting function.

摘要: It is desirable to enhance efficiency of a power conversion device in both of a case where a motor generator which is an electric rotating machine is operated as a motor and a case where the motor generator is operated as a generator by performing regeneration braking. At the time of performing regeneration braking, strength of regeneration braking can be controlled by making an inverter circuit conductive in response to a predetermined phase of an AC output which the inverter circuit generates and by controlling a conduction width. Due to such a control, the number of times of switching a semiconductor element which constitutes the inverter circuit can be reduced thus suppressing heat generation of the semiconductor element and also the efficiency of the power conversion device can be enhanced. Further, the enhancement of efficiency of the power conversion device can be realized also in a motor operation and hence, it is also possible to enhance efficiency with respect to the traveling of a vehicle.
