    摘要: The main object of the invention is to provide an electromagnetic wave resonator making use of surface waves: an electromagnetic wave resonator structure capable of being achieved with existing technologies yet without much difficulty and applying voltage to a positive dielectric area, thereby overcoming a variety of problems arising from the fact that only thermal excitation is available.The contact structure of negative dielectric/positive dielectric/negative dielectric necessary for this type of electromagnetic wave resonator is provided on the surface of the negative dielectric material 1 just as the coaxial structure of the positive dielectric thin film 3 extending in the Y-axis direction and the negative dielectric material 2 received therein is cut in the axial direction. This makes sure both negative dielectric materials 1 and 2 with the positive dielectric thin film 3 sandwiched between them are electrically insulated so that voltage can be applied to the positive dielectric thin film 3, and ensures that an area provided in the negative dielectric material 1 to receive the positive dielectric thin film 3 has an aspect ratio D/P1 of about 1.9, a figure well achievable in the state of the art.

    摘要: An inverter system having a semiconductor device, and a railway vehicle using this inverter, provide a more accurate determination of whether an abnormal heat generation from the inverter is associated with an error of the inverter system or is due to other causes, by use of a plurality of temperature detecting elements at a plurality of sites associated with the semiconductor device. An error detection section applies inputs from the temperature detecting elements, captures a trend of the differential value based on the plurality of temperature inputs using period sampling wherein an error associated with the semiconductor device, and not from some other condition such as outside environment temperature, is determined based on differences from, or a change in, the initial trend.

    摘要: A position detecting device which can increase accuracy in detecting the pole position of a motor used to perform quick acceleration and deceleration over the range from a zero speed to a high rotation speed, and a synchronous motor driving device using the position detecting device. A position detector detects basic-wave component signals in sensor signals and executes position calculation. A correcting unit calculates signal information representing at least one of a gain, an offset and a phase by a phase detector from the basic-wave component signals detected by an error calculator, and makes correction based on the calculated signal information such that a position detection error is zero.
