    摘要: Systems and methods for operating an appliance control device for controlling the operation of a variety of appliances are provided. The appliance control device may acquire a list identifying one or more functions executable by an appliance. The list may further identify a corresponding protocol corresponding to each function included in the list. The appliance control device may transmit a request to the appliance for execution of a desired function selected from the list using a specified protocol selected based on the corresponding protocol corresponding to the desired function. In turn, the appliance may transmit the list to the appliance control device upon request. Further, the appliance may also receive the request to execute the desired function in accordance with the selected specified protocol, and execute the desired function in response to the request.

    摘要: A mold, a molding machine, and a foamed molded body manufacturing method are provided that are capable of more reliably preventing ingress of foamed resin into a gas discharge hole using a gas-impermeable member and capable of adequately discharging gas inside the cavity to the cavity outside through the gas discharge hole during foam molding, and that are also capable of achieving good design characteristics in a foamed molded body. A gas discharge hole 5 is provided at a cavity 4 inner face of a mold 1 and discharges gas inside the cavity 4 to outside the cavity 4. A gas-permeable member 6 is disposed inside the cavity 4 of the mold 1 so as to cover the gas discharge hole 5, and a gas-impermeable member 8 is disposed on the gas discharge hole 5 side of the gas-permeable member 6 so as to face the gas discharge hole 5. A portion of the gas discharge hole 5, spanning at least from axial direction intermediate portion of the gas discharge hole 5 to the cavity 4 side of the gas discharge hole 5, is configured with a tapered profile portion 5a that increases in diameter on progression toward the cavity 4 side.

    摘要: Proposed is a reduction of variance in electromagnetic noise eliminating effect with signal conductors arranged in a flat cable to which an electromagnetic noise absorber is attached. The electromagnetic noise absorber is provided with a plate magnetic body and a U-shaped magnetic body. Since the width of the plate magnetic body is smaller than the interval between the side walls of the U-shaped magnetic body, the plate magnetic body can be accommodated in the U-shaped magnetic body, with a clearance formed between the end portions of the plate magnetic body and the side walls of the U-shaped magnetic body. The impedance in the vicinity of the clearance is decreased, and the difference in impedance between the end portions and the middle portion of the electromagnetic noise absorber is decreased. Therefore, a variance in the electromagnetic noise eliminating effect with signal conductors of the flat cable is made small.
