The upper supporting member is moved between its retracted position where it is retracted from the opening of the cartridge holder and its engaged position where it engages the film spool, its movement interconnecting with the movement of the cartridge holder between its cartridge accommodating and projecting positions.

摘要： An apparatus is provided with a movable cartridge casing capable of facilitating film cartridge loading and unloading operations. In a loading operation, the cartridge casing is positioned at a cartridge receiving position outside the body of the apparatus so that the film cartridge can easily be inserted in the cartridge casing, the cartridge casing containing the film cartridge is pushed into the body to an intermediate position where the film spool of the film cartridge is separated from a spool driving shaft, and then the cartridge casing is moved toward the spool driving shaft along a line substantially parallel to the axis of the spool driving shaft to bring the film spool into engagement with the spool driving shaft. In an unloading operation, the cartridge casing is moved away from the spool driving shaft to the intermediate position along the line substantially parallel to the axis of the spool driving shaft to separate the film spool from the spool driving shaft, and then the cartridge casing is moved to the cartridge receiving position outside the body.

摘要： An apparatus using a film cartridge in a system that a leading portion of a film contained in a cartridge is thrust to be conveyed from the cartridge, wherein an indicator showing an exposure condition is reset to an original state when an initial loading, which is executed on a film cartridge loading in an apparatus, is not executed normally, and the film is rewound, thus, it indicates "unexposed" when a new film cartridge is loaded. While, when a winding up operation is not executed normally during a photographing, a film is rewound and an indicator showing an exposure condition, is set so as to indicate that the film is exposed. 摘要： A motor drive system is provided with two drive units so that the system may be driven not only by operating one of the drive units but by simultaneously operating both of the drive units in accordance with load condition. Both of the first and second drive units are provided with a motor and a gear reduction mechanism. The output gear of the second drive unit is mounted as a planetary gear of a planetary gear mechanism on the carrier. When the current is supplied simultaneously to both the motor of the first drive unit and to the motor of the second drive unit, the output gear of the first drive unit comes into mesh with the output gear of the second drive unit, combining the output forces of the first and second drive units to drive the load driving shaft. When the use of only the first drive unit is required to drive the load, the motor of the second drive unit is rotated reversely to move the carrier of the planetary gear mechanism to a refuge position, where the output gear of the second drive unit is de-meshed from the output gear of the first drive unit.

The IC card is formed as a rectangular plate of a size of about 20 mm.times.30 mm to 40 mm.times.60 mm so that it may be mounted on a camera. Contents of the IC card are or can be indicated on a front surface of the IC card. A plurality of connecting terminals for electric connection to a camera are disposed in a row on a rear surface along an edge of the IC card. A camera for use with such IC card has an IC card accommodating means provided thereon. Where the camera is a single lens reflex camera, the means may be located sidewardly of a pentagonal roof prism accommodating section on the top of the camera and include a lid member for opening or closing a card accommodating section thereof. The means may be located otherwise on the bottom or a rear lid of the camera and include a member mounted for movement between a position accommodated in the camera and another position projecting from the camera.

The card accommodating device comprises an outer lid unit for removably accommodating an IC card therein, and an inner lid unit mounted for movement and releasably arrested on the outer lid unit and having switch elements and electric signal transmitting contacts located thereon.
