Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems for a beam failure recovery on one or more secondary cells are described. In one example aspect, a wireless communication method includes receiving, by a first device, parameters configured to carry out beam failure detection and beam failure recovery for secondary cells associated with the first device, determining, by the first device, whether a beam failure event has occurred on at least one of the secondary cells based on at least one of the parameters, performing, upon a determination that the beam failure event has occurred, a beam failure recovery procedure for the secondary cell with the beam failure event, and terminating the beam failure recovery procedure upon an occurrence of a termination event.

In various implementations, the method includes determining a beam failure event for a first cell, and transmitting a beam recovery request message on a shared uplink channel when available. In other implementations, the method includes determining that the shared uplink channel is not available for transmitting the beam recovery request message and transmitting a resource request to request allocation of the shared uplink channel via a second cell.

Abstract: Techniques are described to adjust transmission rates. For example, in a dual-connectivity system, a first communication node can be in communication with a first network node and a second network node. The first communication node may receive from a first network node a first message that includes a recommended bit rate for an ongoing communication between the first communication node and a second communication node. In some embodiments, the first communication node can, in response to receiving the first message, send an acknowledgment or a non-acknowledgment indicator to the first network node indicating that the first communication node accepts or rejects the recommended bit rate.

Abstract: Provided are a method and device for requesting system information, a storage medium and a terminal. The method includes that: a terminal performs a cell reselection in the case where the terminal initiates a system information request procedure but has not successfully completed the system information request procedure, the terminal resets an MAC layer or a relevant parameter of an RACH procedure, and the terminal acquires required SI according to an RRC configuration of a reselected cell. When the terminal initiates the system information request procedure, the terminal may immediately reset the MAC layer or the relevant parameter of the RACH procedure after triggering the cell reselection, so as to terminate the current system information request procedure, and acquire the required SI again in the reselected cell.
