摘要： A cooler access control system locks a cooler when occurrence of an event is detected that requires limiting access to the inside of the cooler. Examples of such events include the loss of power to the cooler for a predetermined period of time, the opening of the cooler door for longer than an allowed time, the loss of functionality of a temperature probe and others. In an embodiment, a service mode is supported wherein the door is left unlocked despite the occurrence of such an event, to allow a stocker or other personnel to leave the cooler door open while stocking the cooler with product.

摘要： A lock includes a housing assembly, an actuatable lock assembly and a latching assembly. The actuatable lock assembly is positionable in at least a closed orientation and an open orientation. The latching assembly further includes a latch, a cam and a motor. The latch, having a cam profile, is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the actuatable lock assembly is maintained in the closed orientation. In the unlocked position, the actuatable lock assembly is positionable into an open orientation. The cam is rotatably mounted and has a first follower configured to intermittently coact with the cam profile of the latch, to, in turn, move the latch between the locked position and the unlocked position. The motor is coupled to the cam. Actuation of the motor causes rotation of the cam, resulting in movement of the latch between the locked and unlocked positions.

摘要： A locking mechanism is selectively operable both electronically and mechanically by way of an integrated mechanical lock and motorized lock mechanism. A motorized lock mechanism is incorporated with a mechanical lock to provide for keyless access, while the mechanical lock and key system remains as a back-up. A toggle assembly is selectively positioned either mechanically via a first cam, or electronically via a second cam, both selectively operable independently of each other, without interference from each other, to move the toggle assembly to its unlocked position. A spring biases the toggle assembly to its locked position when the first and second cams are in their locked positions.

A door incorporating this latching device can be operated as a left hand (front) or right hand (rear) opening device. The device can be used for car-top carriers, tool storage boxes, merchant displays, truck storage boxes, and other applications that need to open from two sides. The device can have multiple locking, latching, and hinging elements. The latches can be locked using conventional key-operated handles, cam locks, or electronically. The device features direct visual and audible user feedback to confirm proper latching and locking operation. When used for car-top box carriers that attach to automotive roof racks, the device can use an “L”-shaped clamp with a safety catch.

摘要： A lock for retrofitting onto a drawer or a door includes a drawer having a front panel. The drawer slidingly engages an item of furniture having a front face that is positioned above the front panel when the drawer is closed. A bracket has a vertically disposed flat front plate, a horizontally disposed flat top plate, a vertically disposed fiat back plate, and a horizontally disposed motor platform that extends horizontally into an interior of the drawer. A motor having an output shaft is mounted on the motor platform. A latch supported by the motor platform is engaged by the output shaft. The latch is retracted when the drawer is unlocked and is extended to engage an interior side of the front panel of the furniture item when the drawer is locked.
