Abstract: A tire-to-tire pressure equalizing system includes: (a) a flexible conduit providing an airflow passageway therethrough; (b) a first coupler configured to connect to a first free end of the flexible conduit and engage with an air valve of a low-pressure tire; and (c) a second coupler having a check valve configured to connect to second free end of the flexible conduit and engage with an air valve of a high-pressure tire. The check valve is configured to allow air to transfer from the high-pressure tire to the low-pressure tire until an equilibrium is reached. A tee joint includes a connection for a first coupler and one or more conduits to allow for three or more tires to connect until an equilibrium is reached.

Abstract: A manifold for inflating tubeless tires that efficiently directs pressurized air to a void between a tire bead and a rim edge. Manifold is fan shaped with a center face and angled side faces. Side faces have a first plurality of apertures at a predetermined centerline and the center face has a second plurality of apertures that are offset from the predetermined centerline. The offset second plurality of air flow apertures are directed to the widest void between the tire bead and rim edge while the first plurality of air flow apertures are directed to the narrow void on either side of the widest void. A two contact point stop or rest assembly is used to abut against two points on the rim edge to provide and maintain a predetermined distance between the center face and the widest void and to provide an optimum angle of the manifold for inflation.

Abstract: An air maintenance tire assembly includes a tire having a tire cavity bounded by first and second sidewalls extending to a tire tread region, air pumping means for generating pressurized air for maintaining air pressure within the tire cavity at a preset pressure level, the tire having an elongate valve stem projecting outward from the tire cavity and having an internal valve stem air passageway in communication with the tire cavity and operative to direct pressurized air into the cavity, and a valve housing disposed adjacent an outward end of the valve stem and operative to selectively open and close pressurized air flow from the valve stem internal passageway into the tire cavity.
