Abstract:
In one embodiment of an apparatus for manufacturing a rubber sheet, a continuous rubber material is supplied onto a supply conveyor in a meandering state by supplying the continuous rubber material onto the supply conveyor while moving rubber supply device in a reciprocating manner in a roll axial direction. The rubber supply device has a full width moving mode in which the rubber supply device moves in the roll axial direction such that the continuous rubber material has a meandering shape of a width corresponding to a width of a rubber sheet, and a partial width moving mode in which the rubber supply device moves in the roll axial direction such that the continuous rubber material has a meandering shape of a width obtained by excluding widths of both edge portions of the rubber sheet from the width of the rubber sheet.
Abstract:
An improved process for pelletizing thermoplastic material, particularly ultra low melt viscosity thermoplastic polymer, using an underwater pelletizer adapted to prevent extruded material from agglomerating in the pelletizer, which pelletizer comprising a cutting assembly having (1) a shroud fixedly mounted on the outer periphery of the cutting assembly thereby preventing pellets from being trapped between the die face and the cutting assembly; and (2) novel knives contoured to conform in their angular positions to the curvature of the shroud to avoid pellet agglomeration.
Abstract:
Apparatus for shaping a product of fish-paste which provides moving a fish-paste sheet having grooves on one or both surfaces thereof in its length direction, curling the sheet obliquely to the sheet-moving direction with one lateral edge of the sheet as a core to form a rolled-up article, pulling the resulting rolled-up body in a direction parallel to the sheet-moving direction around a rolling post installed outside of the opposite lateral edge line of the sheet.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus for sealing thermoplastic covers to product containing trays; for example in the embodiment disclosed for converting bulk butter and the like into individual service patties and for sealing each pat in a totally enclosed sanitary server.
