摘要： A multilayer bioresorbable stent having sustained drug delivery is disclosed herein. The bioresorbable stent releases a therapeutic substance from the body of the bioresorbable stent starting when the bioresorbable stent is implanted within an anatomical lumen and ending when the entire mass of the bioresorbable stent is no longer present within the anatomical lumen. The bioresorbable stent releases the therapeutic substance gradually during the treatment as the mass of the each layer of the bioresorbable stent erodes. Methods of making the therapeutic layers within the bioresorbable sent are further disclosed. Sustained drug delivery reduces the risk of late and very late stent thrombosis.

摘要： A system and method for additive manufacturing of heterogeneous porous structures, and structures made therefrom. The system includes: a powder feeding module for depositing layers of powder material; a binder module for dispensing powder binding material; a porogen module for selectively depositing at least one porogen to the layers of powder material, wherein the at least one porogen is removable to produce at least one predetermined porosity in the part; and a controller to control the powder feeding module, binder module and porogen module. The method includes: forming a layer by performing at least one of: applying a powder to a substrate; applying a binder to the powder; applying at least one porogen to the powder based on a predetermined pattern; and forming additional layers until a predetermined number of layers is reached, wherein at least one of the layers includes a porogen.

摘要： A molding method includes: drawing cross-section elements of a three-dimensional object as a molding target on a drawing surface of a drawing stand with a liquid whose curing is precipitated by receiving activation energy as cross-section patterns; applying the activation energy to the liquid configuring the cross-section patterns in a state in which the cross-section patterns is pinched between the drawing stand and a molding stand; and detaching the cross-section patterns after being applied with the activation energy from the drawing stand and transferring the cross-section patterns to the molding stand side, wherein the drawing surface has a liquid repellent area that is an area representing liquid repellency for the liquid and a lyophilic area that is independently formed in an island shape within the liquid repellent area and is an area representing lyophillicity stronger than that of the liquid repellent area for the liquid.

摘要： Finely divided particles preferably formed into tablets or into pellets of granular temperature indication material are used as a thermometer and are brought into contact with a surface to measure surface temperature by a change in appearance of the indication material at a known temperature. Pellets are made from comminuted solid temperature indicating material shaped into a pill or tablet. In a version of the invention different temperatures are indicated by separate parts of the product, such as by separate stacked layers assembled as a composite unit to form an article of manufacture.

摘要： A process for cleaning short segments and bundles of carpet yarn removed from used carpets and converting the cleaned carpet fiber filaments into recycled carpet fiber is disclosed. The process reduces mechanical complexity, saves water, and minimizes the volume of waste when compared to known process. The process comprises turbulent mixing of carpet fiber segments and bundles in an aqueous medium to remove entrained particulates and soluble materials. A thermoplastic pellet or granule, carpet fiber, and carpet made from carpet filaments cleaned with the disclosed process is also provided.
