摘要： A device for driving a stamping foil over a path through a stamping machine is disclosed herein. The driving device comprises two foil-introduction chain-like elements and a drive member coupled to the foil-introduction chain-like elements for driving the foil-introduction chain-like elements notably through a platen press of a stamping machine. The driving device further comprises at least one first load-measurement device comprising a first detector configured to measure a parameter indicative of the load applied by the drive member for driving the foil-introduction chain-like elements in a first direction, the at least one first load-measurement device being connected to a stamping-machine control unit configured to stop the driving by the drive member when the parameter indicative of the load applied by the drive member and measured by the first detector crosses a threshold.

摘要： The information carrier is periodically applied to a platen which is preferably rotatable. The apparatus comprises in known manner a rotary stamp for printing information on the information carrier when this carrier moves between the platen and the stamp. The platen has at least one groove with two edges and a bottom situated between planes which bound at least an annular stamp surface carrying the printing faces, a part of the periphery of the stamp extends into the groove without touching the edges, and reset means urging the stamp and the platen towards each other. In accordance with the invention the inking device is arranged in the groove, said reset means urging the periphery of the stamp against the inking device in the absence of an information carrier.The invention is employed in cheque readers and stamping machines.

摘要： A stamping tool may include a base and a cover. The cover is removably affixed to the base through a hinging assembly. The base can include a first base hinge and a second base hinge substantially perpendicular to the first base hinge. The base hinges can include hinge sections. The hinge sections can include a first wall and a second wall that can be biased to define a cavity that is accessible through a channel between the first wall and the second wall. Hinge sections can be separated by one or more receptacles. The cover can include one or more hinge bars corresponding to the hinge sections on the base. The hinge bars can have an unequal aspect ratio allowing for easy insertion and removal of the cover. The cover can also include one or more protrusions separating the hinge bars. These protrusions correspond to the receptacles on the base.

摘要： A stamp device includes a main body. The main body includes a bottom plate on which a carrier and a stamp are placed, a pressing plate which cooperates with the bottom plate to press the carrier and the stamp, a limiting structure for limiting a lateral relative movement of the pressing plate and the bottom plate, and a connecting structure for folding and unfolding the main body. An upper surface of the bottom plate is provided with a working space for placing the carrier and the stamp. The present invention uses the pressing plate and the bottom plate to press the stamp and the carrier for stamping the pattern on the carrier. A movement space cooperates with a limiting member to limit the lateral movement of the pressing plate.

A quantity of ink is applied to the stamp and, as the cover is placed in a closed position, the stamp is brought into contact with the article thereby stamping the article with the ink.

摘要： A two color printer of the ink roll type which can attain change-over in color with high accuracy with a simple construction. The printer comprises a plurality of type wheels arranged in a row and a pair of ink rolls in which inks of different colors are impregnated. A change-over cam is integrally provided on an end one of the type wheels and has first and second cam sections formed in an axially and circumferentially displaced phase relationship thereon. The ink rolls are carrier on a roll carrier which is mounted for pivotal and sliding movement toward and away from the type wheels and has first and second cam pawls opposed to the first and second cam sections of the change-over cam, respectively, whereby the first and second cam pawls of the roll carrier are alternately engaged with the first and second cam sections of the change-over cam, respectively, to selectively contact one of the ink rolls with the type wheels.

摘要： Apparatus for printing indicia upon a continuous paper web, and including an ink retaining robbon, supply and take-up reels for the ribbon, and with a web path for the paper web and ink ribbon being defined, and with a printing station situated in the web paths. The printing station includes a numbering machine with indicia to be printed, with the printing station further including a skate assembly which carries a rotatable pressure ring. The skate assembly is mounted upon an endless belt, and is arranged to run in a direction transverse to the paper web path. A single motor means is provided, and includes a first drive for providing intermittent draw-dwell motion to the paper web, while providing continuous motion of the endless belt carrying the skate assembly. The skate assembly is timed to move across the paper during paper dwell periods.
