Abstract:
A socket structure for installing and removing tires includes a sheathing action section, a neck buffer section and a power plug section, and the sheathing action section has an axial polygonal action hole, and the power plug section has an axial square hole and a radial through hole provided for plugging and connecting a power output shaft of a power tool to achieve the expected effect of outputting power. The sheathing action section has an edge thickening and reinforcing portion at the front end to improve the overall structural strength of the sheathing action section and achieve the effects of preventing damage and extending service life.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lubricating agent for mounting or releasing a tire bead, comprising alkaline electrolyzed water and a lubricant component. The lubricant component comprises a lubricant base oil, which is made up of a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil, and a surfactant. The present invention relates to a method for producing a lubricating agent for mounting or releasing a tire bead, the method comprising: mixing an alkaline electrolyzed water with a lubricant component. A tire and wheel assembly method, comprising: applying the above lubricating agent onto a contact surface of the wheel with a tire bead, and thereafter assembling the tire onto the wheel having had the lubricating agent applied thereon. A method for dismantling a tire and wheel integrated together, comprising: causing the above lubricating agent to seep onto a part of a contact surface of a wheel and a tire bead, and thereafter releasing the tire from the wheel. The provided is a lubricating agent for mounting or releasing a tire bead allows mounting a tire easily onto a wheel, at a bead seating pressure of 300 kPa or less; leaves little residual component after mounting; and enables easy releasing of a tire from a wheel. The present invention provides a tire and wheel assembly method and dismantling method in which the lubricating agent for mounting or releasing tire beads is utilized.
Abstract:
A tire changer which utilizes an elongated bead breaker assembly with a tool that defines a pair of contiguous, substantially planar tire contact surfaces which define therebetween an included angle in the range of about 155 to about 165 degrees. The tool is situated at an included angle of about 55 to 65 degrees with respect to longitudinal axis of the elongated bead breaker assembly.
Abstract:
The invention relates to bicycle work stands for making repairs and changing and mounting tubeless tires. There is provided a one-sided wheel work stand with a pivotal upper wheel bracket which allows the user to work unobstructed on the wheel and then acts as a device to lay the wheel flat for better sealing. In related embodiments, the work stand is configured to assist a user in adapting 32 mm 15 QR axle hubs and in truing a bicycle wheel while attached to the work stand.

Abstract:
A tire mounting tool configured to maintain a tire with respect to a wheel during a tire mounting process includes a wheel holding portion configured to be affirmatively held with respect to a rim of a wheel. The tire mounting tool further includes a handle portion configured to connect to and hold, at least in part, the wheel holding portion, and a tire holding portion configured to limit movement of the tire with respect to the rim of the wheel.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a tool for supporting and locking a rim or tired wheel in position on a tire mounting-demounting machine for automobile wheels equipped with support table (2) with an axial hole or opening (2a), the tool comprising grip-release device (3) for a tired wheel (TW) or a rim (W) to be handled, and locking means for locking the grip-release device (3) to the support table (2) and/or for locking the rim (W) or tired wheel (TW) against components of the grip-release device (3).
Abstract:
The invention refers to a mounting device for mounting or dismounting a vehicle tire on a wheel rim, the wheel rim or the wheel being supported on a mounting table and a pressing-down device being provided for sliding the vehicle tire on the wheel rim.The invention is characterised by a movement of the pressing-down device which is essentially parallel to the wheel axis for sliding the vehicle tire on the wheel rim or pulling off the vehicle tire from the wheel rim.
Abstract:
A tool for pulling a first and second tire bead off of a wheel assembly. The tool is inserted between the bead to be removed and the rim edge, and engages the bead to be removed with a grappling structure and pulls the bead over the rim edge by a linear drive assembly disposed inside a tubular structure affixed to the grappling structure. Simultaneously an angled stay is positioned on the rim which is pressed in an opposite direction of the pulling motion. A second embodiment pulls the rim from a second bead of a tire. A hook is inserted between the rim edge and the second tire bead and hooks onto the lower rim edge. A linear drive assembly provides a pulling motion to pull the rim over the second bead, while a push plate simultaneously pushes the tire side wall in an opposite direction from the pulling motion.
Abstract:
A tool is provided for assistance in removing tires from wheel rims. The tool has a rim engaging member with a lateral opening for engaging the flange of a wheel rim, and a tire engaging member movably coupled to the rim engaging member. The rim engaging member has a slot, within which a pin of the tire engaging member can slide to thereby allow the tire engaging member to rotate and translate relative to the rim engaging member. A roller is mounted on one end of the tire engaging member to exert a downward pressure on the tire sidewall, and a handle protrudes on an opposite end. A resilient roller is mounted on a lip portion of the rim engaging member to facilitate engagement between the member and the rim, and to prevent damage to the rim. The rim engaging member also may have a resilient roller for engaging a portion of the tire engaging member to enable smooth movement of the two pieces with respect to each other. The tool also has an adjustable tire bead hook member for supporting an upper tire bead while the tool is being used to remove the lower tire bead. This adjustable hook member can be adjusted to fit a variety of tire widths, including double-width tires.
