    摘要: Disclosed is a drainage canal structure, and in particular is a prefabrication type drainage canal structure which makes it possible to prevent a transformation and disengagement of a drainage canal in such a way that a plurality of drainage canal bodies each equipped with a waveform reinforcing unit are assembled in series, and a protection net is arranged over the drainage canal bodies which are buried underground, and a side reinforcing unit is installed into the ground so that a bottom foundation can be expanded, and the drainage canal bodies can be fixed in place on the ground. Trees, gravels, etc. can be prevented from penetrating into the drainage canal bodies thanks to the protection net. The drainage canal structure with an increased self-weight can be provided, which can keep it in place. Work and construction time can be saved because the drainage canal structure can be manufactured on the spot.

    摘要: An assembly (10) for forming a trench (T) includes one or more frame members (16) that cooperate with a removable form (12) around which a moldable trench forming composition (C) is poured. The form is made of deformable buoyant material such as expanded polystyrene. Rebar legs (18) are attached to the frame members to provide secure anchoring of the frame members to both the ground (E) and in the trench forming composition. Preferably, each frame member includes a horizontal leg that is received in a slot (22) formed in one of the opposing side walls of the form. The cooperating engagement between the frame member (16) and the form provides longitudinal support to prevent the buoyant form (12) from lifting within the trench composition (C) while also maintaining the proper spacing and planar alignment of the frame members. Wire strands (28) are placed within cooperating guide tracks (24) in the opposed ends of the form. The wire strands are pulled through to deform the form after the composition has hardened. To form the trench, a ditch (D) is prepared. The trench form assembly is prepared and then secured in the ditch. The moldable trench forming composition is poured around the form assembly and allowed to set. The form is then deformed by pulling the deforming wire strands through the form. The segmented form is then removed to reveal the finished trench.

    摘要: A liner is disclosed for a waterway of the type adapted to overlie the bottom of the waterway while a cementious layer covers and protects the liner. The liner itself is positioned at the bottom of the waterway by a machine having two elongated and spaced apart guide rails, each having a hollow interior and a longitudinally extending slot open at each end. The liner includes an elongated, flexible and water impervious sheet of a geomembrane material, such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene material, having two spaced apart side edges. A strand is secured along each edge of the sheet by wrapping a flap of the sheet around the strand so that the flap encircles and then flatly abuts against one side of the sheet. A heat seal between the flap and the sheet bonds the flap and sheet together and the enclosed strand is then longitudinally slidably positioned within the interior of one of the guide rails.

    摘要: A canal trimming machine is disclosed which is designed to trim the bottom and sides of an earthen canal so that the canal may be lined and paved. The machine comprises a frame which extends across the width of the canal and which has propelling tracks at the opposite ends thereof which are driven along the canal in the proper direction and at the proper grade. A trimmer is longitudinally movably mounted on the frame and trims at least one-half of the bottom and a majority of one side of the canal. The trimmer is automatically positioned at the proper grade to ensure that the bottom and sides of the canal will be properly prepared for the lining and paving operation. A rock spreader is also mounted on the frame and trails behind the trimmer to fill low spots in the canal so that an even surface will be provided for the lining and trimming operation.

    摘要: Channel construction machinery is provided with a levelling and material lining application attachment to thus provide a continuous mode of channel construction operation in either the longitudinal or transverse direction of operation with respect to the longitudinal axis of the channel. The levelling and/or lining attachment is provided with at least one shaft which is mounted and driven so as to rotate. The length of the shaft is proportioned to the length of the embankment section to be worked on. Located about the circumference of the shaft are blade-like elements, whose surfaces are directed at an angle to the axis of the shaft. The shafts and angularly directed blades are mounted on implement carriers of the channel construction machine in a manner such that they oscillate by being connected to vibration actuators. The implement carriers, however, attached to the frame of the apparatus are isolated from the vibrations of the vibrator by damping elements. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the blade-like elements are linked together and fixedly mounted as a helix surrounding the rotating and oscillating shaft.
