    摘要: An electromagnetic switch assembly having a structure adapted for integral formation of component parts and for reduction in size and production cost, including an insulating base plate having at least one through hole formed therein to serve as a cell for relay contacts. An integrated type switching device can be realized with a matrix array of such through holes and electromagnetic relays associated therewith, the relay contacts being mounted on the base plate through the medium of two groups of conductive layers formed on the opposite surfaces of the base plate and extending along the lines and rows of contact cells, respectively.

    摘要: An electromagnetic matrix switch device, suitable for use in an automatic exchange or computer, comprising a two-dimensional array of cross-point elements, each of which comprises a magnetically actuated switch adapted to bridge its associated pair of row and column signal lines and a magnetic core positioned in magnetically-coupled relationship to the switch to actuate it in response to a current pulse applied to its associated pair of row and column control lines. Each magnetic core has provided therearound first and second windings connected to its associated row control line and third and fourth windings connected to its associated column control line, the polarity of those windings being such that application of the current pulse to the row and column control lines will cause the first and fourth windings to produce magnetic fields in a direction opposite to those produced by the second and third windings. Provision is made for short-circuiting the second and third windings of each magnetic core simultaneously with the application of the current pulse to a selected pair of the control lines, whereby only the magnetic core located at the intersection of the selected pair of the control lines produces a magnetic field sufficient to actuate its associated switch.

    摘要: A cross point switching matrix utilizing remanent reed switches includes an array of coil forms mounted on a magnetically permeable shunt plate. Electromagnetic coils are wound around the coil forms in alternating directions and one or more remanent reed switches are contained in each coil. Magnetically permeable coupler plates are mounted on opposite sides of the shunt plates and serve to complete a magnetic path between the ends of each reed switch and the shunt plate through the other reed switches. When two or more reed switches are mounted in each coil, the switches are disposed in a straight line aligned at a 45.degree. angle to the coordinates of the matrix to permit electrical connections to be readily made to the reed switches utilizing straight conductors.

    摘要: The crosspoint element comprises a reed switch comprising a pair of reed pieces having cooperating contacts and an exciting winding for operating the contacts. Each reed piece comprises a core conductor of a first magnetic material and a sheath made of a second magnetic metal having different coercive force from that of the first magnetic metal. When a release pulse current is passed through the exciting winding, the crosspoint elements permit a large permissible variation in the peak value of the magnetomotive force required for holding the reed piece at a definite state of mangetization. The crosspoint element is especially suitable to use as a selection element of an electromagnetic coordinate selection device.

    摘要: A magnetically controlled switching device in which a plurality of reed relays are arranged in matrix array, each relay being composed of a plurality of reed switches, and which has the following characteristic features. Firstly, a coil form where the reed switches are positioned provides guides which introduce leads of the reed switches toward the edge portion of the coil form. The end of the leads are bent so as to easily introduced the leads along the guides of the coil form. Secondly, for the purpose of connecting the leads to a plurality of vertical and horizontal multiple connecting wires, projected portions are provided in the multiple connecting wires, and the reed relays are disposed so that the lead terminals are not arranged in the direction of the multiple connecting wires and the leads and the projected portions are respectively connected. Thirdly, the coil forms where said reed switches are positioned and a group of terminals for the exciting coils are fixed to a magnetic shunt plate. Said magnetic shunt plate, said coil forms, said group of terminals, terminal flanges which insulate said terminals and supporting members which support the base plate on which the multiple connecting wires are arranged are formed simultaneously as one body with synthetic resin.
