    摘要： Formulation delivery systems, formulation delivery devices, and formulation cartridges for the same are provided. Formulation delivery systems include a reusable handle, a formulation dispensing assembly, and a controller. The formulation dispensing assembly includes a reciprocating nozzle assembly and a pump. The reciprocating nozzle assembly is fluidically-coupleable to the formulation cartridge or the cleaning cartridge received within the reusable handle. Formulation delivery devices include a reusable handle configured to receive a formulation cartridge therein, and a formulation dispensing assembly disposed in the reusable handle. The formulation dispensing assembly includes fluid conduits, a pump fluidically connected to the fluid conduits, a reciprocating nozzle assembly, and a controller. Formulation cartridges include a reusable cartridge body, a valve frame, and a disposable refill packet reversibly-coupleable to the reusable cartridge body. The disposable refill packet includes a formulation packet and a body portion configured for insertion into the reusable cartridge body.

    摘要： A cartridge for dispensing a material, having: a sleeve having a longitudinal axis and a distal wall with a dispensing hole; a barrel defining a chamber for the material, including a proximal open end and a breakable distal wall at its distal end, and being movable in the sleeve between a first position where its distal wall is a distance from the sleeve's distal wall and a second position where its distal wall's sealing portion contacts an inner surface of the sleeve's distal wall; and a piston having a plate movable to seal the barrel's chamber. The sleeve includes an internal piercing element, near the dispensing hole, for breaking the barrel's distal wall upon moving the barrel from the first to the second position. Around the piercing element is an annular cavity delimited peripherally by a beveled inner surface that complements a beveled outer surface of the barrel.

The device further includes a hollow cementing portion extending from the body portion. The cementing portion has a lateral opening which is located outside the base when the body portion is fitted into the hollow interior of the base such that a pathway is formed from the interior of the cementing portion through the lateral opening into a gap between the dental restoration and the base. The dental restoration cementing device allows for precisely, quickly and cost efficiently cementing the dental restoration to the base.
