    摘要: The tie plates, normally, made of steel, have a wrap-around device that gives additional support. The wrap-around device goes around or partially the tie and takes various forms as such. It may be a U-shaped bracket with the top section welded to the tie plate. The vertical legs extend beyond the bottom of the tie and have a bolt between the bottoms of the legs. The brackets may be further secured to the tie by lag screws. The tie plate would still have conventional spikes. In another embodiment, it may be shaped as a metal box that is attached to the tie plate by welding with bolts or lag screws in the sides of the box. The design of these devices transfers weight vertically as well as sideways from the wheels. If the ties are made of concrete, the box design allows the concrete to flow therethrough.

    摘要: A plate element for a fastening point, at which a rail for rail vehicles is fastened to a fixed base. The plate element has an opening leading from the upper side thereof associated with the rail to be fastened to the underside thereof associated with the base, through which a fastening element for fastening the plate element onto the base is guided during use, which engages with an anchor fitting countersunk into the base, and a fastening point at which a rail for a rail vehicle is fastened to a fixed base. The plate element enables the fastening of a rail onto a fixed base, ensuring optimum electrical insulation. This is achieved by a ring element made from a flexibly resilient material sitting in the region of the mouth of the opening associated with the base.

    摘要: In a method of constructing a rail track on a concrete slab, the concrete slab is poured around anchor members for fixing tie plates supporting the rails of the rail track. The method includes the following steps: suspending the rails premounted on their tie plates above the location at which the concrete slab is to be poured, each tie plate including a base under which is disposed a temporary tie plate for accurately guiding the anchor members, adjusting the position of the rails, pouring the concrete slab up to the height of the temporary tie plates, raising the rails and removing the temporary tie plates, and accurately positioning the rails premounted on their tie plates on the concrete slab in their final position and fixing the tie plates to the anchor members.

    摘要: A rail fastening plate used to secure a railway rail to a sleeper or other rail foundation uses a spring clip. The plate includes a base section adapted to be secured to a rail foundation by securing bolts passing through each of a plurality of apertures in the base section. A pair of spaced raised ribs upstanding from an upper surface of the base section, the ribs being spaced apart so as to receive a railway rail therebetween. Channels cut across the ribs are shaped to include narrowed outer sections and a wider central section. The narrowed sections act as a gate through which the clip must pass and which serves to retain the clip in position.

    摘要: A rail fastener device for directly affixing rapid transit system rail apparatus to a rigid support structure. The device includes a rail plate and a baseplate which are separated by a layer of elastomeric material which is bonded to the adjacent sides of each plate. Means are provided for fastening the rail directly to the rail plate, and means are provided for fastening the baseplate directly to the support structure. The rail plate, however, is free to float on the elastomeric material with respect to said baseplate so as to provide vibrational damping as well as electrical isolation therebetween.
