    摘要: A collapsible backrest may include a cover and a back panel retained within a first compartment of the cover. A base panel flexibly coupled to the back panel and retained within a second compartment of the cover with the central panel and the base panel defining a notch. A central panel may be flexibly coupled to the base panel and retained within a third compartment of the cover. An end panel may also be flexibly coupled to the central panel and retained within a fourth compartment of the cover. The central panel and the end panel define a cavity. The base panel, the central panel, and the end panel form a triangular support structure in a deployed position. The base panel, the central panel, and the end panel may also be arranged end-to-end and substantially parallel to the back panel in a stowed position.

    摘要: A track-mounted aircraft seat has seat track locking pins that are capable of moving independently to remain engaged with the seat track assembly in a warped-floor condition. The seat track locking pins are actuated by means of a pair of torque tubes that rotate independently about a common pilot shaft. A control link, which is operated by the user, acts on a pair of bell cranks each of which acts on one of the torque tubes. The control link is attached to the bell cranks by means of a spherical joint. Because the torque tubes rotate independently and because the spherical joint allows the bell cranks also to move independently, in the event of a warped-floor condition, rotation of one torque tube caused by the skewed seat track will not cause the other torque tube to release its track locking pin.

    摘要: A self-stowing jumpseat consists of a seat frame that is deployed by pulling the seat frame out of a pocket formed in the edge of a bulkhead. Once the seat frame has been deployed and locked in position, the seat pan is folded down to enable a user to be seated. The seat pan is spring-loaded to fold up, so that when the user vacates the seat, the seat pan automatically folds up into the closed configuration. As it does so, an interlock lever attached to the seat pan trips the seat frame locks from their locked to their unlocked positions. The seat frame has a retraction mechanism that urges the seat into the pocket. Accordingly, as soon as the seat pan interlock lever releases the seat frame locks, the retraction mechanism causes the folded seat frame to move into the stowed position within the bulkhead.
