    摘要: A variable spoiler apparatus for a vehicle may include a driving portion including a gear set configured to provide a predetermined speed reduction ratio, wherein a driving motor and a driving shaft for supplying rotational force of the driving motor may be connected to the gear set, and a linkage, wherein a base bracket to which the driving shaft of the driving portion may be connected may be provided on the linkage, wherein the linkage includes a plurality of links that may be connected to a spoiler bracket connected to the driving shaft, the base bracket and a spoiler, and wherein the plurality of links may be rotated together with the driving shaft when the driving motor of the driving portion operates thereby to draw out or stow the spoiler such that angle and height of the spoiler may be varied.

    摘要: A three degree-of-freedom robotic manipulator is constructed from three rotary drives. The rotary drive consists of a relatively small diameter cylindrical driving member coupled to a larger diameter cylindrical driven member. The driven member of a second rotary drive is mounted perpendicularly to the driven member of a first drive. The driven member of a third drive is mounted to the periphery of the driven member of the second drive with its axis of rotation parallel to the driven member of the second drive. The driving member of the third drive is located with its axis of rotation coincident with the axis of rotation of the driven member of the second drive. Motors powering the second and third driving members are mounted to the driven member of the first drive roughly centered over its axis of rotation. An extension arm for mounting the end effector is fixed to the driven member of the third drive. This arrangement reduces the number of required components and minimizes motor movement to reduce inertia. Performance is higher and the cost is reduced over conventional designs.

    摘要: A power divider system with governed speed control wherein a first power path and a second power path are formed by a differential-like power divider. A control system associated with the two power paths senses and controls the speed relationship thereof. The speed of an output element of the second power path is determined and then governed to a predetermined value by modulated transfer of power from the second power path to the first power path. The speed of an output element of the first power path is limited relative to the output element of the second power path by the transfer of power from the first power path to the second power path through a one-way drive system. A power transfer mechanism for governing the second power path to the predetermined speed provides fail-safe operation.

    摘要: The invention relates to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) system, governed by an inertia mechanism that provides an additional degree of freedom, conferring dynamic properties on the transmission. The complete system includes three distinct subsystems. The first subsystem transforms the rotating movement from the drive system into a movement with oscillating angular speed and regulates the amplitude of said movement. The oscillating rotation at the output of the first subsystem is used to drive the second subsystem, which acts as a regulating element by means of the inertia mechanism. In this manner, the second subsystem acts as a torque-regulating element, providing a signal representing the oscillating angular speed at the output shaft thereof. The oscillating rotation at the output of the second subsystem is rectified in the third subsystem, thereby providing a signal representing angular speed in a single direction of rotation at the output shaft.

    摘要: A ratio changing mechanism is provided for combining two mechanical input signals to produce an output signal. The mechanism includes a first crank mounted on a pivoted link with an input member mounted on the first crank. The mechanical inputs are applied to the input member which moves the crank in such a manner that an output signal is transmitted from one arm of the crank. Movement of the first crank is modified by connection of the other crank arm to a second crank which is adjustable in position to change the ratio of the output to the combined input signals.
