摘要: A system for estimating the lane width and/or the number of lanes on a roadway includes environmental sensors mounted on a vehicle to monitor respective detection areas behind and to the sides of the vehicle. The sensors detect a roadway edge and the system determines a distance to the roadway edge. The system further determines a value or accesses a predefined nominal value of a lane width, and then estimates the number of lanes by evaluating the roadway edge distance with reference to the lane width value.

摘要: A method controls a motor using pulse width modulation (PWM). The method involves measuring the PWM frequency; determining the carrier frequency of a set radio transmitter; and matching the PWM frequency to the carrier frequency of the radio transmitter in such a manner that an integer multiple of the PWM frequency corresponds to the carrier frequency or an integer multiple of the PWM frequency lies in the middle between two carrier frequencies.

摘要: An accident sensor for a motor vehicle for triggering a safety system is provided. A deformable and radiation transparent synthetic material part is penetrated by a defined quantity of light traveling in a beam path. A radiation sensitive detector optically detects the deformation of the material part by detecting a change in the beam path to determine a position of impact on the motor vehicle based a signal waveform and a determination of the transit time between the impact and the detection of the signal. The material part is arranged externally on the motor vehicle.

摘要: 1. Method for testing the tightness of capacitive sensors 2.1. Known methods of seal testing cannot be used because of the extremely small volume of the sensor cavity or on wafer level. Other known methods of seal testing are only possible with high expenditure on safety because, for example, radio isotopes are used. 2.2. Method for testing the tightness of capacitive sensors arranged in a hermetically sealed enclosure, in which the processed sensors are arranged in the form of a wafer, wherein the already sawn wafer bearing the sensors is immersed in a test fluid under defined conditions, the capacitance of each sensor is then measured and compared with the capacitance of reference sensors. 2.3. The invention is especially suitable for testing the tightness of capacitive, hermetically sealed sensors.

摘要: Method and system for motor-driven assistance of the movement of a vehicle door, wherein the vehicle door is driven by means of an electric motor, which is controlled by a control unit, depending on a force exerted on the vehicle door by an operator, in a manner assisting this force or exceeding the force, comprising the steps:

the voltage induced in the electric motor due to the force exerted on the vehicle door by the operator is detected and transmitted to the control unit,
this electrical voltage or a signal derived from it is compared with prescribed threshold values in the control unit during a defined, adjustable time interval, and
the motor is driven by the control unit, depending on whether the threshold values are exceeded or undershot, in a manner merely assisting the force exerted on the vehicle door by the operator or exceeding the force.
