Abstract:
A plug assembly includes a lower cover and an upper cover. The lower cover has two lower lateral walls and a lower rear wall. A top surface of a lower portion of the lower cover, the two lower lateral walls and the lower rear wall surround a lower accommodating space. The lower accommodating space has at least one lower embedding portion. The upper cover is assembled to the lower cover. The upper cover has two upper lateral walls and an upper rear wall. A bottom surface of an upper portion of the upper cover, the two upper lateral walls and the upper rear wall surround an upper accommodating space. The upper accommodating space is combined with the lower accommodating space to form an accommodating space. The upper accommodating space has at least one upper embedding portion disposed corresponding to the at least one lower embedding portion.
Abstract:
An optical transceiver system includes a PAM4 conversion device, a light emitting device, a light receiving device and an interface unit. The light emitting device is coupled to the PAM4 conversion device and receives a first PAM4 signal from the PAM4 conversion device. The light receiving device is coupled to the PAM4 conversion device and transmits a second PAM4 signal to the PAM4 conversion device. The interface unit is coupled to the PAM4 conversion device through an active electrical cable device and transmits a first NRZ signal to the PAM4 conversion device. The first NRZ signal is converted into the first PAM4 signal by the PAM4 conversion device, and the second PAM4 signal is converted into a second NRZ signal by the PAM4 conversion device, and the second NRZ signal is transmitted to the interface unit.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for an adaptive search user interface is provided. An interface is provided that returns search results upon receiving each alphanumeric character of a search query term. Correlations of prefixes of alphanumeric characters and search results selected from previous searches are stored in a correlation matrix. Based upon the correlations in the correlation matrix, relevance rankings for search results with respect to the prefixes of alphanumeric characters are updated. Search results may be grouped based upon one or more common traits. Relevance rankings are also updated based upon the rate of change of selections recorded for a search result.
Abstract:
The invention presented is a pad printing blanket that reduces damage to pad printing heads. The industry-standard pad printing head is soft plastic, silicone or urethane. The pad is used to print designs on three-dimensional surfaces and the pad must be pressed firmly onto said surfaces. This pressure leaves permanent indentations on the print pad surface, eventually rendering the print pad useless for printing. The invention covers said print pad with a blanket of soft plastic which carries the ink for the image. Only the pad blanket contacts the printable surface, protecting the print pad and reducing the need for expensive print pad replacement.
Abstract:
A putting trainer has a long strip mounted to the head along a length of the putter head. The long strip has a pair of ends, namely a close end toward the player and a far end away from a player. The putting trainer has a ball path having a pair of columns of sensors, namely a column of right sensors and a column of left sensors. The pair of columns of sensors detect the motion of the long strip over the pair of columns of sensors. An audio output from a speaker provides feedback to the player. A golf trainer also includes a golf putter having a handle, a shaft connected to the handle, a hosel connected to the shaft and a putter head connected to the hosel.
Abstract:
A sled carriage is configured to move in a direction of an axis. A platform is attached with the sled carriage and a sled buck is attached with the platform. Upon acceleration of the sled carriage, the sled buck and platform move relative to the sled carriage.
Abstract:
A support structure comprises a first portion for sliding attachment to a seat having a front, a back, and two sides, and a second portion connected to the first portion at a substantially right angle. The first portion has a hollow cross-sectional shape with an asymmetrical material distribution through the plane of the cross section, the material distribution placing more of the material comprising the first portion toward the sides of the vehicle seat. The support structure is adapted for attachment to the seat and is adapted to be activated to extend in a substantially vertical direction upwardly from the seat. The first portion has an arc shape along its length so that when the support structure is activated the second portion is supported by the first portion at a desirable angle for bracing against an impact force direction that is typical of vehicle rollover.
Abstract:
A press assembly is shown having a plurality of aligned press modules having a lower platen and an oppositely-disposed upper platen, the press modules defining a channel through the press assembly. A resinous wood fiber mat is fed into the channel. The upper and lower platens are driven along synchronized circular paths of travel such that the mat is compressed between the platens and is propelled by the platens through the channel. The platens are connected to eccentric shaft drive assemblies that move the platens along the desired circular path. The action of the eccentric shafts of each module are interconnected and coordinated by gear box units, and the gear box units are interconnected by intermediate gear boxes to synchronize the press assembly. A plurality of motors drives the eccentric shafts, and the supplied power may be distributed by the gear boxes.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, the invention provides for a light truck including a frame with opposing longitudinal frame rails running along each side of the vehicle. The frame rails include at least a leading portion with vertical placement lowered and selected to substantially align with a passenger car energy management structure. In this embodiment, the vertical placement of the leading portion of the light truck frame rails is selected to direct impact energy to a passenger car longitudinal energy management structure, improving vehicle-to-vehicle compatibility in the event of a front longitudinal impact with a passenger car. The present invention also provides embodiments which increase the impact energy absorption capacity of a light truck by providing geometric softening of the frame rails and material softening of the frame rails.
