Abstract:
Disclosed is a process for the regioselective preparation of glycerol derivative in a high efficiency and yield. The process for the regioselective preparation of 1-R1-2-R2-3-acetyl-glycerol derivative comprises the steps of: obtaining 1-R1-3-protecting group-glycerol by introducing a protecting group to 3-position of 1-R1-glycerol; obtaining 1-R1-2-R2-3-protecting group-glycerol by introducing R2 group into 2-position of 1-R1-3-protecting group-glycerol; and carrying out the deprotection reaction and the acetylation reaction of 1-R1-2-R2-3-protecting group-glycerol at the same time. Wherein, R1 and R2 are fatty acid groups having 16 to 22 carbon atoms, and are different from each other; and the protecting group is trityl group or trialkylsilyl group.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal and a method of providing a scheduler therein are provided. The mobile terminal comprises: a touch screen; a memory unit for storing a scheduler; and a controller for controlling to display, when displaying a screen of the scheduler on the touch screen, an indicator for changing a relative position thereof to a time axis and for representing a time range of any schedule item by the relative position thereof on the scheduler screen.

Abstract:
A data storage device includes a memory block, a data classification unit, and a memory control unit. The memory block includes a high-speed nonvolatile memory and a low-speed nonvolatile memory, wherein a data access speed of the high-speed nonvolatile memory is greater than a data access speed of the low-speed nonvolatile memory. The data classification unit classifies the externally input data into data groups including busy data and free data, where the busy data has greater access frequency than the free data. The memory control unit configured to store the externally input data classified by the data classification unit as busy data in the high-speed nonvolatile memory, and to store the externally input data classified by the data classification unit as free data in the low-speed nonvolatile memory.
Abstract:
An optical projection system which creates pincushion distortion of an image and then creates a barrel distortion of the pincushion-distorted image to compensate for the pincushion distortion and then projects an enlarged image without substantial distortion onto an image display surface. An embodiment includes a polynomial reflector to compensate for the pincushion distortion, to enlarge an image, and to project the enlarged image toward a screen.
Abstract:
A thin projection type image display device with a low chin height includes a cabinet, a screen, a projection optical system, an optical path changing unit, and a reflecting unit. The screen is disposed on a front side of the cabinet. The projection optical system enlarges and projects an image formed by a display element, and the optical path changing unit is disposed on the bottom of the cabinet to reflect the image enlarged and projected by the projection optical system. The reflection unit is disposed obliquely to the screen and below the screen to reflect the image reflected by the optical path changing unit toward the screen. The projection optical system is disposed in a space above a horizontal plane perpendicular to the screen, behind the front side of the cabinet, and below an optical path of light incident on a bottom of the screen.
Abstract:
Duty cycle correcting circuits having a gain adjusting circuit that selects one of a plurality of gains of the duty cycle correcting circuit based on a frequency of an input signal. An output circuit outputs a duty cycle corrected output signal based on the input signal and the selected one of the plurality of gains. The input signal may be an input clock signal and the output signal may be a corrected clock signal. Methods are also provided.

Abstract:
A compound represented by a general formula (Ia) or (Ib) and a stereo-selective preparation method thereof using a carbonyl reductase which is separated from Kluyveromyces marxianus. The compound can be prepared by reduction of substituted β-keto ester and can be used as an intermediate in preparing β-lactam group antibiotics.
Abstract:
Carbonyl reductase (CR) of a yeast strain, Kluyveromyces marxianus, and its isolation and purification method thereof is provided. The reduction reaction by the reductase obtained in the present invention is more stereospecific and requires less cost and time than the reduction reactions by the microorganisms or by the reducing enzymes obtained from a chemical synthesis.
