Abstract:
A sheet processing apparatus includes a conveying motor for conveying a sheet along a conveying path, a skew detecting unit configured to detect a quantity of skew of the conveyed sheet, a hole punching section arranged downstream from the skew detecting unit, an attitude control unit configured to carry out skew correction by changing tilt angle of the hole punching section in accordance with the quantity of skew, a detecting unit configured to detect the forward edge and the rear edge of the sheet conveyed into the hole punching section, and a control unit configured to control the conveying motor to control the conveying speed of the sheet. During a period from when the detecting unit detects the forward edge of the sheet until the detecting unit detects the rear edge, the sheet is decelerated from a first conveying speed to a second conveying speed. After the detecting unit detects the rear edge of the sheet, the conveying of the sheet is stopped and punching processing to the sheet is executed when the conveying is stopped.
Abstract:
A sheet processing apparatus includes a first detecting unit including a first sensor and a second sensor arranged at a predetermined spacing from each other on a line orthogonal to a conveying path through which a sheet is conveyed, and a hole punching section provided downstream at a predetermined distance from the first detecting unit and arranged orthogonally to the conveying path of the sheet. The quantity of skew of the sheet is detected in accordance with a difference between time when a forward edge or a rear edge of the sheet passing through the conveying path passes the first sensor and time when the forward edge or rear edge passes the second sensor. Position information of the sheet with respect to the hole punching section is calculated in accordance with information of timing when the first sensor and the second sensor detect the passage of the sheet edge, and the conveying speed of the sheet.
Abstract:
In a sheet post-processing apparatus that folds a sheet bundle, a folding roller drive motor that drives folding rollers is PWM driven such that its speed is varied in each control during the period until a blade contacts the sheet bundle, during the period when the sheet bundle is conveyed to a discharge port, during discharge operation, and during return of the motor to its home position.
Abstract:
In an apparatus that performs saddle-stitching processing of a sheet pack, a pair of folding rollers is arranged in such a manner that large-diameter parts and small-diameter parts are alternately formed and that the large-diameter parts are abutted against the small-diameter parts at a facing part symmetrically about the center of a transport passage.
Abstract:
A sheet stack loader includes a loading table to support a first folded sheet bundle, an elevator to lift the first folded sheet bundle from the loading table, and a conveyer to convey a second folded sheet bundle into a space between the loading table and the first folded sheet bundle, wherein the space is created by the elevator.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, an erasing apparatus for a sheet includes a conveying path configured to convey a sheet on which an image is formed with a coloring agent that is erased by heating, a first erasing section including, on an upstream side of the conveying path, a first heating member provided on one surface side of the sheet and a first rotating roller provided to be opposed to the first heating member, and a second erasing section including, on a downstream side of the first erasing section, a second heating member provided on the other surface side of the sheet and a second rotating roller provided to be opposed to the second heating member.
Abstract:
There is provided a decoloring device including a decoloring unit, a first sheet conveying unit, a pre-decoloring reading unit, a type determining unit, a second sheet conveying unit, a post-decoloring reading unit, a decoloring success or failure determining unit, and a determination criterion setting unit. The type determining unit determines the type of image on the sheet conveyed to the decoloring unit based on the reading result in the pre-decoloring reading unit. The post-decoloring reading unit reads an image on the sheet after the decoloring, which is conveyed by the second sheet conveying unit. The decoloring success or failure determining unit determines whether or not the decoloring in the decoloring unit is successful based on the reading result in the post-decoloring reading unit. The determination criterion setting unit sets a determination criterion in the decoloring success or failure determining unit, based on the type of image, which is determined by the type determining unit.
Abstract:
According to an embodiment, a sheet discharging device includes: a first conveying path configured to guide a sheet to be conveyed; a second conveying path branched from the first conveying path at a branch point of the first conveying path; a sorting section configured to sort a sheet being conveyed on the first conveying path into either a downstream side of the branch point on the first conveying path or the second conveying path; a first discharge tray configured to receive a sheet discharged from the first conveying path at a first sheet loading surface; and a second discharge tray placed below the first discharge tray and configured to receive a sheet discharged from the second conveying path at a second sheet loading surface whose distance to the first sheet loading surface increases toward a downstream side thereof in a sheet discharging direction.
Abstract:
An image erasing apparatus includes a scanning unit, a memory unit, an erasing unit, and a carrying unit. The scanning unit converts an image formed on a sheet into image data which is electronic data. The memory unit stores the image data converted by the scanning unit. The erasing unit erases the image formed on the sheet. The carrying unit carries the sheet to the scanning unit and the erasing unit in this order.
Abstract:
An image erasing apparatus includes: a first carrying section carrying a recording medium; a second carrying section carrying the recording medium; a branching section branching a carrying path into the first carrying section and the second carrying section; a first erasing section erasing an image of the recording medium in the first carrying section; a second erasing section erasing the image of the recording medium in the second carrying section; a third carrying section carrying the recording medium pas sing through the first erasing section to the second carrying section; and a control section selecting the carrying path of the recording medium depending on an image erasing mode.
