摘要: Systems and methods for identifying a motion state of a mobile device are disclosed. In one embodiment, identifying a motion state of a mobile device using acceleration signals from one or more accelerometers comprises: detecting any pedestrial steps associated with a user of the mobile device during an observation period based on the acceleration signals; determining a maximum number of consecutive pedestrial steps taken during the observation period from the detected pedestrial steps; and declaring a high average velocity motion state or a low average velocity motion state for the observation period based on the determined maximum number of consecutive pedestrial steps.

摘要: Provided are methods and systems for continuously producing low concentrations of chlorine dioxide from dilute solutions of sodium chlorite. The low concentrations of chlorine dioxide produced allow for reduced exposure risk with direct application of the chlorine dioxide stream. The incorporation of a suitable chlorine dioxide detector permits continuous monitoring and control of chlorine dioxide production ensuring that the process stays within regulatory guidelines. Pretreatment of reaction water is preferred for achieving suitable conversion rates of the low concentrations of chlorite to chlorine dioxide.

摘要: A mobile device-based printing system and method is described. The printer system for network printing includes a communication network adapted to transfer messages between a mobile device and a printer. The printer is connectable to the communication network to receive a print message, including a reference to a document to be printed, via the communication network. The printer has a phone number for receiving print messages via said communication network. The mobile device is connectable to the communication network to transmit the print message on the communication network. A method for printing from a mobile device to a printer using a communication network includes transmitting a print message to a phone number of the printer from the mobile device where the print message includes a reference to a document to be printed.

摘要: A method is proved for analyzing frequency distribution of a reflection from a surface of a body to determine a type of body surface. Initially, a plurality of data points from a sensor that senses the reflection of the body's surface are provided. A first series of terms are summed together to provide a first magnitude, each term including a plurality of data points; wherein the plurality of data points being spaced apart by a first spacing. A second series of terms are summed together to provide a second magnitude, each term including a plurality of data points; wherein the plurality of data points being spaced apart by a second spacing. The first magnitude is compared to the second magnitude to determine the type of body surface.
