Abstract: A motor driven blower for use in supplying heated air to a flexible, double walled hat having provisions to support the motor driven blower centrally on the bonnet as it is worn on the head of the user. Abstract: A manicure device is provided which imparts reciprocating motion to a removable manicure tool. An electric motor drives a pinion gear which in turn drives a ring gear which has an integral eccentric. A tool holder is moved in a reciprocating motion by the eccentric and at its end received the manicure tool. The tool holder is guided in its reciprocating motion by means of roller bearings which ride on the inner surfaces of a hollow enclosure. A handle containing the motor and the tool holder is stored in the upper portion of a plastic case along with the manicure tools, and the line cord is stored in a recessed enclosure that is accessible from the bottom of the case.

Abstract: A grass shear for trimming lawns is provided with a housing which supports and secures the internal components to facilitate and reduce manufacturing costs. The housing further provides for easy modification of the grass shear from a hand-held unit to one which is provided with a supporting wheel assembly and/or an extension handle to enable the operator to use and control the grass shear from an upstanding position. The housing is formed of two mating halves, each of which has a number of projections which serve to retain the various components of the grass shear without requiring any further fastening means. The housing is further provided with an extension handle receiving cavity; an extension handle carrying extension controls is removably securable within the receiving cavity. The mating halves of the housing have corresponding sections of reduced thickness and internal bearing support members providing for the addition of an axle and wheel assembly.

Abstract: A two vessel electric coffeemaker wherein water is forced from the lower vessel through a coffee container to the upper vessel so that the percolate is collected in the upper vessel is provided. A C-shaped electrical heating element is integrally formed with the base of the lower vessel to provide energy for the generation of steam. Abstract: An illuminated makeup mirror including a flat compact casing which is provided with hinged housing halves permitting the casing to be opened to expose a makeup mirror. Mounted within the casing is a movable illuminating means which consists of a pivotal bulb carrier supporting a row of bulbs which are powered by a rechargeable battery positioned within the case. Abstract: A motor driven appliance for making soap lather by rotating a cylindrical brush in contact with a bar of soap in the presence of water.
