    Abstract: A system of monitoring diffuse waves over a concrete beam under different loads. Ultrasound transmitters and receivers are placed over the concrete beam to emit sound waves and collect diffuse waves under different loads. The waveform variations are observed to quantify a decorrelation coefficient (DC) indicating global structural changes and crack position. An inversion of the correlations is applied to estimate distribution density at each localized position following the sensitivity kernel and inversion algorithms. Then, three-dimensional imaging comprised of density values at each localized position are generated to indicate number, position, and depth of multiple cracks.

    Abstract: A golf swing improvement tool is provide that attaches to a golf club, and includes a guide arm contacting the leading forearm of a golfer. An offset arm allows the guide arm to be offset laterally from the longitudinal axis of the golf club. The user adjusts the offset distance to give a specific leading arm-to-club relationship. If the club moves ahead of the desired relationship with the leading arm during the swing, the user will be alerted to this error by the guide arm loosing contact with the forearm.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a metering nozzle used with a squeezable bottle for dispensing a fixed amount of fluid from the bottle. A dispensing chamber volume of the metering nozzle may be adjusted to adjust the volume of fluid dispensed from the bottle. The nozzle allows the fixed amount of fluid to be measured and then dispensed without returning into the bottle by utilizing a movable piston, shuttling between the nozzle inlet and the nozzle outlet by applying a compression force to the bottle against a biasing force of a spring.

    Abstract: An investment casting method involves producing a casting shell by applying a hardenable refractory material to a sacrificial pattern. The casting shell having a plurality of phosphate bonds in the hardenable refractory material, which provide increased structural integrity during casting and improved frangibility during shell removal. The casting shell may also have a plurality of gaseous pockets suspended in the refractory material, which do not degrade the structural integrity during casting and provide improved frangibility during shell removal.
