Abstract: Systems and methods for sidelink (SL) resource pool resource use by a user equipment (UE) are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, when the UE performs contiguous partial sensing in addition to periodic partial sensing, the UE performs one of resource selection and resource re-evaluation based a size of a time gap between a slot where the UE has SL data and a first slot of periodic-based candidate slots within a resource selection window. In other embodiments, the UE performs contiguous partial sensing without additional periodic partial sensing in the case where a packet delay budget (PDB) for the SL data is greater than a threshold. In some embodiments, the UE performs periodic partial sensing for resource re-evaluation and/or resource pre-emption according to a set of periodicity values Preserve,rs-ev (and optionally period definition data Kre-ev). Restrictions on the use of random resource selection by the UE are also described.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE), a baseband processor or other network device can operate in a new radio (NR) unlicensed network to correlate resource selection with shared spectrum channel access. The device can perform a resource selection procedures within a resource selection window (RSW) to determine a set of candidate resources, and a clear channel assessment (CCA). A resource selection of one or more resources can be performed from the set of candidate resources to enable a sidelink (SL) communication. The CCA initiates after an aperiodic traffic arrival, after a previous transmission, or after the resource selection is completed.

Abstract: Interference measurement may include decoding a channel state information (CSI) reporting configuration received from a base station. The CSI reporting configuration may be associated with a set of resources for interference measurement. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may establish communication with a plurality of transmission reception points (TRPs) and determine one or more beam failures associated with a first or second TRP based on reference signals received from the first and second TRPs. The UE may then transmit a scheduling request requesting resources for indicating the beam failures associated with the first TRP or second TRPs. Upon receiving a response to the scheduling request allocating resources, the UE may then transmit, using allocated resources, a beam failure indication of the first one or more beam failures associated with the first TRP or second TRP. After receiving a beam failure response from the first or second TRP, the UE may then communicate with the first TRP and the second TRP using one or more new beams based on the beam failure indication and the beam failure response.
