    摘要: A process for manufacturing a superconducting elongated article such as a superconducting wire which is applicable for manufacturing a superconducting coil or the like. The process includes steps comprising filling a metal pipe with material powder of ceramic consisting of compound oxide having superconductivity, performing plastic deformation of the metal pipe filled with the ceramic metal powder to reduce the cross section of the metal pipe, and then subjecting the deformed metal pipe to heat-treatment to sinter the ceramic material powder filled in the metal pipe. The ceramic material powder may contain compound oxide having Perovskite-type crystal structure exhibiting superconductivity.The metal pipe may selected from a group comprising metals of Ag, Au, Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir, Ru, Os, Cu, Al, Fe, Ni, Cr, Ti, Mo, W and Ta and alloys including these metals as the base. The heat-treatment may be carried out at a temperature ranging from 700 to 1,000.degree. C., The plastic deformation of the metal pipe filled with the ceramic metal powder may be performed in such manner that the cross section of the metal pipe is reduced at a dimensional reduction ratio ranging from 16% to 92% by wire-drawing or forging by means of dies, roller dies, or extruder.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a high-strength coil spring useful for an engine and other high-strength springs requiring a high fatigue-resistance and a method of producing the same.In general, a higher tensile strength is desired for spring materials but it has been known that if a tensile strength exceeds a certain limit, a toughness and a fatigue resistance are contrarily reduced.In addition, a coil spring has been used after forming and then being subjected to a quenching treatment followed by being subjected to a shot peening treatment to add a compressive residual stress to a surface thereof but an effective shot peening treatment gives a surface roughness Rmax of 6 to 20 .mu.m, so that not only it has been impossible to remove surface defects having a surface roughness of 6 to 20 .mu.m or less but also impressions due to the shot peening have covered the surface defects to be turned into injured portions and fatigue nuclei in many cases.In view of the above description, the present invention has found a high-strength coil spring with high fatigue resistance using a clean steel wire, such as chromium-vanadium steel wire and chromium-silicon steel wire, by forming it in the shape of a spring, quenching and tempering at lower temperatures to heighten the tensile strength, and being subjected to a shot peening treatment followed by being subjected to an electrolytic polishing treatment, which does not exert a bad influence on fatigue resistance, to remove surface defects and a method of producing the same.

    摘要: In a hydraulic brake pressure control system of the load responsive type for wheeled vehicles, a load sensing member in the form of a leaf spring or a torque bar is engaged with a spring loaded valve piston of a hydraulic brake pressure control valve to exert a biasing force against the valve piston depending upon the wheel load. The load sensing member is formed at its intermediate portion with a plurality of curved portions bent back in a plane perpendicular to the bending action plane of the sensing member. Each intermediate portion defined by the curved portions acts as a torsional element.
