The wireless device may be configured to stablish a first wireless link with a first cell according to a RAT, where the first cell operates in a first system bandwidth and establish a second wireless link with a second cell according to a RAT, where the second cell operates in a second system bandwidth. Further, the wireless device may be configured to perform uplink activity for both the first RAT and the second RAT by TDM uplink data for the first RAT and uplink data for the second RAT if uplink activity is scheduled according to both the first RAT and the second RAT.

摘要: A method is disclosed where a user equipment (“UE”) is operating in a carrier aggregation mode and connected to a first cell operating on a licensed band and a second cell operating on an unlicensed band. The method may include the UE performing a carrier sensing operation on the unlicensed band, determining, from the carrier sensing operation, a duration that the unlicensed band will be occupied, refraining from transmitting data to the second cell on the unlicensed band for the duration that the unlicensed band will be occupied and setting a transmitter in communication with the second cell to a low power mode for the duration that the unlicensed band will be occupied.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device to perform methods for determining resources for scheduling side-link communications. The resources may be semi-persistent and/or dynamic resources. A user equipment device (UE) may determine a resource map for use in scheduling semi-persistent resources for side-link communications with at least one wireless node. The UE may transmit a resource map request message indicating preferred resource blocks, where each resource block may be defined by a time and a frequency. The UE may receive a confirmation message that may include a report regarding a set of resource blocks. The set of resource blocks may be from the preferred resource blocks included in the resource map request message. The UE may determine, based, at least in part, on the confirmation message, resource blocks to be used for the side-link communications and initiate the side-link communications using the determined resource blocks.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device to perform simultaneous uplink activity for multiple RATs in the same carrier using multiplexing at a layer above the physical layer. The wireless device may establish wireless links with first and second base stations, respectively, according to first and second radio access technologies (RATs), respectively. The first base station may provide a first cell operating in a first system bandwidth and the second base station may provide a second cell operating in a second system bandwidth. The wireless device may determine whether inter-RAT uplink coexistence in the same frequency band is enabled. If so, the wireless device may perform uplink activity for both the first RAT and the second RAT in the first system bandwidth by multiplexing uplink data for the first RAT and uplink data for the second RAT at a layer above the physical layer.

The UE transmits, during a first subframe a scheduling request (SR) to the network, the SR corresponds to data that is to be transmitted by the UE. The UE determines a second subframe for the UE to enter an active mode of processing for a reception of a grant, the second subframe is subsequent to the first subframe and prior to a next onDuration. The UE initiates an active mode of processing for the reception of the grant during the second subframe.

A wireless device and a cellular base station may establish a radio resource control connection. The wireless device may transmit an indication of a preferred bandwidth part, or a preferred communication duty cycle, or both, to the cellular base station. The cellular base station may select a bandwidth part, or communication duty cycle, or both, based at least in part on the indication provided by the wireless device, and may transmit an indication of the selected bandwidth part, communication duty cycle, or both, to the wireless device. The cellular base station and the wireless device may perform cellular communication using the selected bandwidth part, communication duty cycle, or both.

摘要: A base station and mobile device (UE) may coordinate transmission of reference signals and reception of corresponding channel state information (CSI) reports. If a periodic reference signal is scheduled for transmission outside the on-duration period of the UE, even if the reference signal corresponds to a periodic CSI report scheduled to be transmitted by the UE during the on-duration period, the base station may not transmit the periodic reference signal, thereby allowing the UE not to prematurely exit a low-power state. The base station may instead transmit an aperiodic reference signal at a specified point in time later than the scheduled transmission of the periodic reference signal. The UE may receive the aperiodic reference signal and either transmit the periodic CSI report or an aperiodic CSI report in response, depending on how close to the start of the on-duration period the transmission of the periodic CSI report is scheduled.
