    摘要: A mudflap for vehicles, whereby said the mudflap has a flat main body (1) with ribs (11), arranged in a V-formation for the intercepting, slowing-down and diverting of water thrown up from the wheel of a vehicle, and channels (24, 26, 29), for guiding water intercepted and diverted in the central area (9) down and away, located in two side areas (10) arranged symmetrically about the central longitudinal plane (8). The ribs are provided in a V-formation inclined downwardly from their apex in the region of the central longitudinal plane (8), and have a cross-section which tapers from the main body (1) to the free end. They are arranged so close to each other that the grooves (14) between the ribs (11) have approximately the same cross-sectional area, admittedly the other way round, as the cross-sectional area of the ribs (11). The channels (24, 26, 29) located in the side areas (10) are open on the sides facing the wheel of the vehicle and have at least two continuous longitudinal ribs (20, 21, 22), whereby the longitudinal rib (20) facing the central longitudinal plane (8) is lower in height than the longitudinal rib (22) facing the longitudinal edge (4 or 5) of the mudflap.

    摘要: A connector bank with two rows of insulation displacement contacts for connecting insulated conductors, in particular of cables for telecommunication and data systems, comprising a surge arrester magazine to be inserted into the connector bank. In order to provide a connector bank having a voltage surge protection and allowing connecting and disconnecting as well as testing the attached cable conductors at the insulation displacement contacts even with inserted voltage surge protection, the two rows of insulation displacement contacts are arranged on different sides of the connector bank. An insulation displacement contact of the first row is connected over a connecting element with an insulation displacement contact of the second row. The surge arrester magazine is arranged laterally approximately centrally between the two rows of insulation displacement contacts.

A bow-type spring 3 and a melt element 2 l are arranged with the overvoltage suppressor which is mounted in a chamber of a case body or housing 13. A thermal protection device with simple components prevents creepage currents between the bow-type spring and the contacts of the overvoltage suppressor 6, a chamber for the overvoltage suppressor is adjacent and abutting to a separate chamber formed in the case body for accommodating a bow-type spring. Between the two chambers there is a separating wall comprising a thermoplastic melt element.

    摘要: The invention relates to a surge-protected cable joint for telecommunication networks, comprising a joint casing closed at either end and having axial cable inlets, and terminal strips for the cable wires secured in the casing interior. In order to permit connection of an increased number of cable wires without increasing the external dimensions while at the same time obtaining a higher resistance to surge currents, the individual terminal strips are disposed within the joint interior in a plurality of double rows arranged in series and each row is fixedly mounted within a trough, thus resulting in a wiring free from crossover points and in an increased number of connections. The receiving troughs (2, 2a) are bolted together in pairs with their bottoms adjacent each other, and are secured to lateral connecting rails (4). These connecting rails (4) in turn are mechanically and electrically coupled via support rails (6) to one of the end walls of the joint casing (1) and via an earth cable to a connecting bolt (5). Furthermore, surge arrester magazines (8) are detachably secured, e.g. by clamping, on the individual terminal strips.
