    摘要: An electronic isolator device arranged for receiving field wiring from a field element includes a connector configured to receive a surge element for providing surge functionality to the electronic isolator device, and to provide surge protection to the connectivity by way of the field wiring. The connector is configured to connect the surge element to the electronic isolator device and to the field wiring. The connector is arranged for parallel connection of the surge element with respect to the field wiring such that the surge element can be connected and disconnected with the isolator device without disrupting the connection of the isolator device with the field elements.

    摘要: An arrester for lightning protection of electrical equipment or power transmission lines is disclosed. The arrester comprises an insulating body made of a dielectric and five or more electrodes mechanically connected to the insulating body and arranged to allow the formation of an electric discharge between adjacent electrodes under the influence of lightning overvoltage. The electrodes are located inside the insulating body and separated from its surface by a layer of insulation. Adjacent electrodes exit into discharge chambers having outlets to the surface of the insulating body. At least a part of the discharge chambers is provided with pressurizing chambers located near the electrodes and connected to the discharge chambers through the discharge gaps between adjacent electrodes. Thanks to the invention, the discharge arc is extinguished after the passage of the lightning overvoltage pulse before the follow current having the industrial frequency passes through zero, mainly immediately after the lightning overvoltage pulse.

    摘要: An electrical apparatus, which is immovable in a facility, comprises plural electric circuits. Each electric circuit has one or more resistance elements and is connected to each input terminal connected a power source. The electric circuits are arranged positionally closely with each other. In each electric circuit, a desired functional circuit is connected in series to the resistance element, and a protection circuit is connected in series to the resistance element and connected in parallel with the functional circuit. A discharge member is provided in each electric circuit and arranged between each input terminal and the functional circuit. The discharge member includes a discharge gap which allows the discharge member to face with the discharge member of an adjacently arranged electric circuit.The discharge gap discharge deliberately to the adjacently positioned discharge member when a voltage applied to a selected electric circuit exceeds a predetermined voltage value.

    摘要: An overvoltage protection device for protection of low voltage electrical installations, has a device base part with terminals for phase conductors and ground or neutral conductors and at least one overvoltage protection element, with at least one arrester which is located in a housing. The base part of the device has at least one telecommunications contact which has a switch for remote indication of the state of at least one overvoltage protection element, the base part of the device having plug contacts which are connected to the terminals, and the overvoltage protection element having corresponding connector contacts so that the overvoltage protection element can be plugged onto the base part of the device. The overvoltage protection device is improved by the overvoltage protection element having an optical status display and the optical status display and the switch of the telecommunications contact being actuated via a common mechanical actuating system.

    摘要: The active part which is provided for use in a surge arrester includes two connecting fittings, which are arranged along an axis at a distance from one another, at least one cylindrical varistor column, which is provided between the two connecting fittings, and at least one dielectric loop. This loop is supported on the two connecting fittings and thus holds the active part together, thus forming a contact force. The active part is distinguished by a small physical height and little use of materials. This is achieved in that at least one of the two connecting fittings has an electrode, which is arranged at right angles to the axis and is in the form of a plate, as well as an electrical connection, which is integrally formed on the plate. Furthermore, supporting means which are in the form of shoulders are provided for the dielectric loop, and are formed in the plate and/or are integrally formed at the edge of the plate.

    摘要: A current and transient voltage protector. The protector module for a wiring block having at least one wiring strip includes an insulative housing having opposed ends, at least four electrically conductive contacts defining a first contact, a second contact, a third contact, and a fourth contact partially disposed in the housing. The first contact and second contact extend through one of the ends and the third contact and fourth contact extend through the other end. The first contact and the third contact are aligned and the second contact and the fourth contact are aligned and adjacent to the first contact and the third contact. A first fuse is disposed in the housing and is electrically connected between the first contact and the third contact while a second fuse, also disposed in the housing, is electrically connected between the second contact and the fourth contact. In an alternative embodiment, two voltage surge suppressors are disposed in the housing with a first voltage surge suppressor being electrically connected to said third contact and a second voltage surge suppressor being electrically connected to said fourth contact. A ground contact is provided and is electrically connected to the first voltage surge suppressor and the second voltage surge suppressor.
