    Abstract: This application provides a signal sending method, a signal receiving method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: generating, by a terminal device, OFDM symbols; and sending, by the terminal device, at least two OFDM symbols to a network device in a first time unit, and sending at least two OFDM symbols to the network device in a second time unit. Phase offsets of the OFDM symbols in the first time unit are equal to phase offsets of the OFDM symbols in the second time unit, the phase offset of a first OFDM symbol in the first time unit is not equal to the phase offset of at least one OFDM symbol other than the first OFDM symbol in the first time unit, and duration of the first time unit is the same as duration of the second time unit.

    Abstract: A first access network device determines a timing offset of a first carrier and a second carrier. The timing offset is an offset between timing of downlink communication of the first carrier and timing of uplink communication of the second carrier. The first carrier is a carrier using a first radio access technology (RAT), and the second carrier is an uplink frequency division duplex (FDD) carrier using the first RAT and a second RAT. The first access network device sends first indication information to a terminal. The first indication information indicates the timing offset, and the timing offset is used to determine the timing of the second carrier. Based on this scheme, the terminal can use a shared frequency band resource of LTE, thereby improving resource utilization.

    Abstract: This application discloses a pulse shaping method, a transmitter, a receiver, and a system. The transmitter includes an inverse Fourier transform module, a pulse shaping filter, a pulse shaping controller, and a parallel-to-serial conversion module. The pulse shaping controller is configured to: receive pulse configuration signaling, generate, based on the pulse configuration signaling, a pulse parameter corresponding to a to-be-configured pulse, and output the pulse parameter to the pulse shaping filter. The pulse shaping filter is configured to: perform subcarrier-level filtering on an output signal of the inverse Fourier transform module, perform pulse shaping processing on the output signal of the inverse Fourier transform module based on the pulse parameter, and output a processed signal in serial by using the P/S module. Different pulse parameters correspondingly represent different pulse shapes. In the foregoing solution, pulse shaping can be flexibly configured, to support different communication scenarios.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a communication method based on non-orthogonal transmission, and a device. The method includes: receiving, by first user equipment UE, first downlink control information sent by a base station, where the first downlink control information includes a downlink control parameter of the first UE and an index of a radio network temporary identifier RNTI of second UE; receiving, by the first UE, second downlink control information sent by the base station; and obtaining, by the first UE, a data signal of the first UE according to the index of the RNTI of the second UE, the downlink control parameter of the second UE, the data signal of the associated user equipment group, and the downlink control parameter of the first UE. Signaling overheads can be reduced according to embodiments of the present invention.

    Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided. A terminal device determines a first transmission time period and a second transmission time period, where the first transmission time period includes X1 time units, the second transmission time period includes X2 time units, and the first transmission time period does not overlap the second transmission time period. The terminal device sends a first reference signal in the first transmission time period and a first uplink signal in the second transmission time period, where the first uplink signal includes at least one of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), or a demodulation reference signal (DMRS). Therefore, the terminal device may additionally send the first reference signal, to improve uplink channel estimation performance of a network device.
