摘要: A traffic information transmitting apparatus, method, and program store accumulated traffic information including past traffic information and estimate traffic information at a time when a vehicle passes through a predetermined link based on the accumulated traffic information. The apparatus, method, and program determine whether the estimated traffic information is substantially different from traffic information stored in the vehicle. The apparatus, method, and program transmit, when the estimated traffic information and the traffic information stored in the vehicle are substantially different, the substantially different estimated traffic information to the vehicle.

摘要: A knob structure for parking brake apparatus that can prevent a sink mark or a weld mark from being produced at the time of molding, and allows an inexpensive resin material with a good moldability to be adopted. The knob structure includes a rod that is movably disposed on the vehicle body side, and a knob main body that is connected to the nose end side of the rod, wherein the knob main body is made up of a core part that is previously assembled to the nose end side of said rod, and a surface layer part that coats the surface of the core part after assembly with a substantially uniform coating thickness.

摘要: A wearing article is provided on at least one of front and rear waist covering regions with an indication element adapted to be visually recognized from the outside of the article. The waist covering region provided with the indication element includes a first composite sheet, a second composite sheet lying inside this first composite sheet and the indication element interposed between these two composite sheets. The first composite sheet comprises a first intermediate layer, a first outer layer and a first inner layer while the second composite sheet includes a second intermediate layer, a second outer layer and a second inner layer. The respective layers of the first composite sheet are joined together at joining spots arranged intermittently in a waist-surrounding direction. The first outer layer, the first inner layer, the second outer layer and the second inner layer are respectively formed from inelastic threads describing curves which are stretchable in the waist-surrounding direction between each pair of adjacent joining spots.

摘要: A disposable diaper is provided such that the disposable diaper comprises at least one predetermined illustration displayed thereon and is folded into a predetermined shape. The illustration is provided in such a manner that at least a portion of the illustration is hidden when the disposable diaper is folded into the predetermined shape, and the hidden portion of the illustration is exposed as the disposable diaper is unfolded from the folded state. The burden of labor required for changing the diaper may be reduced by attracting a baby whose intellectual facilities are grown to a certain extent.

摘要: A wet tissue container (10) includes a container body (11), a lid (23) supported for turning on the container body (11) and a bottom wall (12) hermetically closing the open lower end of the container body (11). A rubber plate (50) is extended between the container body (11) and the lid (23). The wet tissue container (10) is held by a container holder (1). The container holder (1) has a back part (2) on which the bottom wall (12) is seated, guide parts (3, 4) of an L-shaped cross section that engage edge parts (12a, 12b) of the bottom wall (12) and edge parts (14a, 14b) of a flange (14) formed on the container body (11). A support part (5) to be inserted in a slot formed in a toilet paper holder (7) is connected to the back part (2).

摘要: In an optical cable made by forming a sheath on enclosing one or more optical fiber cores and a tension member, high reliability is obtained through the avoidance of adverse effects on the optical fiber core of a curving tendency of the tension member prevailing over the resistance of the sheath to curving (for example, due to the installed optical cable being heated by electrical equipment in proximity) and the optical cable consequently curving. Taking the plane containing the curve formed by the tension member due to its curving tendency as a base plane, the optical fiber core is disposed in the proximity of the position of the image formed when the tension member is projected in a direction perpendicular with respect to the base plane onto a flat plane separate from and parallel with the base plane. If the optical fiber core is an optical fiber ribbon comprising a plurality of optical fibers lined up in a flat plane and coated en bloc, then as an additional condition, an alignment line obtained by joining the centers of the optical fibers at both sides of the optical fiber ribbon is disposed perpendicular to the base plane.

摘要: A parting agent for a copier toner is disclosed. The parting agent exhibits no loss of parting properties or generation of gel under high-temperature conditions near 200° C., and causes no problems with paper feed or the like. The parting agent is composed of a diorganopolysiloxane of the average unit formula: RaSiO4−a/2, where the R groups are the same or different and are substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon groups, with at least 50 mol % of the R groups being methyl groups, and 1.95 ≦a≦2.20. The diorganopolysiloxane has a viscosity of 10 to 100,000 centistokes at 25° C., and generates no more than 5 ppm (by weight) of formaldehyde per hour when kept at 200° C. in an air atmosphere.

摘要: An optical fiber cable is constituted by a cylindrical spacer having on its surface helical grooves reversing their direction at a given pitch in which a stack of ribbon optical fibers is received. In the optical fiber cable, the reverse angle ø of the groove is 210°≦ø≦330°; the groove has a size to contain a virtual circle therein whose diameter D is represented by equation of D=(W2+(N·T)2)½ where W is the width of the ribbon optical fiber, T is the thickness of the ribbon optical fiber, and N is the number of the ribbon optical fibers stacked in a groove; the angle &thgr; formed between each of side walls of the groove and a line connecting the center of the bottom of the groove and the center of the spacer varies periodically; and the angle &thgr; of the side wall on the inner side of the curvature of the center of the groove increases continuously and monotonously at least over the part extending from a position distant from a helical portion between adjacent reverse portions at approximately 90° in a circumferential direction to the next reverse portion.
