摘要: In a skin of a robot, it is configured to have a plurality of tactile sensors discretely installed on a base, a first member disposed on the tactile sensors, the first member being continuously formed, at its surface facing the tactile sensors, with projections which are tapered toward the respective tactile sensors as viewed in cross-section to be capable of pressing each of the tactile sensors, and a second member that is disposed on the first member and is made of a material being lower in rigidity than a material of the first member. With this, the skin is equipped with the second member as a soft skin surface and it becomes possible to reliably detect a point of action or distribution of a load applied through the skin surface, thereby enabling to reliably estimate a point in contact with an external object.

摘要: An inlet pipe 6 and an outlet pipe 7 for use in condensers are made from an alloy containing 0.90 to 1.50 mass % of Mn, and the balance Al and inevitable impurities. The inlet pipe 6 and the outlet pipe have an electrical conductivity of 30 to 43% IACS. The inlet pipe 6 and an outlet pipe 7 are each produced from a pipe blank made from an alloy containing 0.90 to 1.50 mass % of Mn, and the balance Al and inevitable impurities, by holding the pipe blank heated at 550 to 600 C in the atmosphere or in an inert gas atmosphere for 10 to 600 minutes and thereafter cooling the pipe blank. The inlet pipe 6 and the outlet pipe 7 can be produced easily at a low cost and have satisfactory resistance to pitting corrosion.

摘要: In a thread-wound golf ball comprising a thread-wound core and a cover, the cover is formed of a vulcanized rubber composition comprising a base rubber containing at least 30% by weight of transpolyisoprene and has a vulcanizing sulfur content ratio between radially outer and inner half regions of from 1/2 to 4/1. Sufficient vulcanizing sulfur available throughout the cover renders the cover to be resistant to cut and shear so that the ball becomes durable.
