Abstract:
A method and device for performing contention resolution between a mobile communication terminal and a base station. The method according to an embodiment includes initiating a random access procedure by a medium access control (MAC) layer of the mobile communication terminal, including starting a contention resolution timer; and stopping the contention resolution timer and determining that the random access procedure was successfully completed upon receipt from the base station of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission addressed to a cell-radio network temporary identity (C-RNTI) of the mobile communication terminal and containing a UL grant.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for re-selecting a cell by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: determining whether conditions for suspending application of autonomous priority handling are satisfied, the autonomous priority handling applying a priority order of a terminal which is different from a frequency priority order configured from a network for a particular frequency; if conditions for suspension are satisfied, re-selecting a cell by applying the configured priority order from the network to the particular frequency; determining whether start conditions for applying the autonomous priority order are satisfied; and if the start conditions are satisfied, re-selecting a cell by applying the priority order of the terminal for the particular frequency.
Abstract:
A method of allocating radio resources in a wireless communication system is disclosed. A method of allocating radio resources from a network of a wireless communication system in accordance with a plurality of scheduling modes comprises transmitting first scheduling information to a user equipment to allocate radio resources to the user equipment in accordance with a first scheduling mode, the first scheduling information including a first user equipment identifier, and transmitting second scheduling information to the user equipment to allocate radio resources to the user equipment in accordance with a second scheduling mode, the second scheduling information including a second user equipment identifier.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for supporting mobility of a user equipment in a wireless communication system. The method comprises the following steps: receiving Mobility State Estimation (MSE) control information including information for MSE from a network; executing mobility if a mobility condition is satisfied; updating a mobility counter on the basis of the MSE control information; estimating a mobility state of the user equipment on the basis of the updated mobility counter; and scaling a mobility parameter on the basis of the estimated mobility state.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for enabling a terminal to communicate with data by modifying an association relationship among component carriers in a mobile communication system supporting carrier aggregation and an apparatus therefor. The method in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: receiving a message including identifier information for modifying an association relationship among at least one downlink component carrier and at least one uplink component carrier from a base station; receiving predetermined data through at least one downlink component carrier from the base station; and transmitting feedback data to the base station for data received through the uplink component carrier modified according to the identifier information.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and an apparatus for controlling user equipment access in a wireless communication system. When the user equipment (UE) is configured to perform extended access barring (EAB), and a radio resource control (RRC) establishment cause is not set to either of emergency call mobile terminating (MT) access or high priority access, the EAB execution is indicated to a lower layer.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting data through a downlink common transport channel in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises receiving measurement information transmitted from a user equipment at an upper network node, forwarding control information of the common transport channel, which is acquired from the measurement information, from the upper network node to a base station, and transmitting downlink data from the base station to the user equipment through the common transport channel in accordance with the control information.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of reporting logged measurements of an user equipment in a wireless communication system is provided. The user equipment in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connected mode receives from a base station a Minimization of Drive Tests (MDT) configuration. The user equipment transitions from the RRC connected mode to an RRC idle mode and logs measurements based on the MDT configuration. The user equipment transmits to the base station a logging indicator indicating an availability of the logged measurement.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting an uplink signal by a user equipment (UE). The method includes receiving an uplink grant including a new data indicator (NDI) on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from a network, determining whether the PDCCH is not addressed to a temporary cell identifier, determining whether the NDI has been toggled when the PDCCH is not addressed to the temporary cell identifier, and transmitting a new data to the network when the NDI has been toggled.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system and a terminal providing a wireless communication service and to a method by which a base station and a terminal transmit and receive data in an evolved universal mobile telecommunications system evolved from universal mobile telecommunications system or a long term evolution system, and more particularly, to a method of controlling a monitoring operation of a physical downlink channel during a radio resource allocation procedure such that the radio resource allocation procedure can be performed with a minimum power usage by the terminal.
