    摘要: An electrochromic display comprising a display electrode and a counter electrode which form a cavity therebetween like a sandwich, the former consisting of a transparent conductive coating and a layer of transition metal oxide which varies reversibly in the light absorption spectrum upon application of current and the latter consisting of a conductive coating and a reversible charge exchange system. An electrolyte is injected into the cavity. A porous ceramics plate is positioned in contact with the display electrode and the counter electrode. This application is a continuation of copending application Ser. No. 760,521, filed on Jan. 19, 1977, now abandoned.

    摘要: A driving circuit is provided for an electro-optical display which includes an electrochromic material and a predetermined number of display segments, various combinations of display segments defining different desired display patterns. The electrochromic phenomenon is developed within the electro-optical display upon a flow of current supplied through the display segments. The driving circuit is constructed so as to supply a predetermined amount of the flow of current to the display segments during variations of the light absorption properties.

    摘要: Electrochromic display device manufacture method wherein electrochromic material is deposited in a single layer on a single film of conductive material over the whole area of glass substrate and then the electrochromic material and conductive material are successively etched through a single mask which defines a display segment pattern and remains in position throughout the whole etching process, whereby etched edge portions of the different materials are in excellent alignment and there is therefore small plate area for a reverse emf cell and good display device performance is achieved. The electrochromic material may be etched by the solution employed for developing the photoresist, whereby an etching process step is eliminated.

    摘要: An opto-semiconductor device. An opto-semiconductor element includes a semiconductor substrate, a multilayered semiconductor layer formed on a first surface of the semiconductor substrate and having a resonator, a first electrode with multiple conductive layers formed on the multilayered semiconductor layer, and a second electrode formed on a second surface of the semiconductor substrate. A support substrate has a first surface formed with a fixing portion having a conductive layer for fixing the first electrode connected thereto through a bonding material. Bonding material and conductive layers forming the first electrode react to form a reaction layer. The difference in thermal expansion coefficient between semiconductor substrate and support substrate is not more than ±50%. A second barrier metal layer not reactive with bonding material is formed inside the first electrode uppermost conductive layer, while uppermost layer reacts with the bonding material to form the reaction layer.

Each of the first and second magnet holder pieces is made of a nonmagnetic metal plate to have a one-piece structure. Each of the first and second magnet holder pieces includes a plurality of receiving portions, each of which receives a permanent magnet, and a plurality of connecting portions. All the receiving portions of the first magnet holder piece have the same orientation. Each of the connecting portions of the first magnet holder piece connects a circumferentially-adjacent pair of the receiving portions of the first magnet holder piece. All the receiving portions of the second magnet holder piece have the same orientation. Each of the connecting portions of the second magnet holder piece connects a circumferentially-adjacent pair of the receiving portions of the second magnet holder piece.

    摘要: The vehicle-use generator driven by a vehicle engine at a rotating shaft thereof includes a rotor rotatably mounted to the rotating shaft, a stator fixedly located radially outward of the rotor, a cooling fan fixed to the rotor to rotate together with the rotating shaft in order to generate cooling air for cooling the stator, and a housing that houses the rotor and the stator and rotatably supports the rotating shaft. The housing is provided with ribs arranged in a circumferential direction of the rotating shaft so as to form cooling air outlet windows. The ribs are inclined with respect to a radial direction of the rotating shaft, and shaped such that widths of the ribs are gradually changed cyclically in the circumferential direction.

The end face is along the radial direction. Both the side wall and the radiating fin are mutually adjacent to provide a gap in the radial direction. The cover encloses the end face of the housing and has plural air inlets that takes in cooling air. The extension member is secured to the cover and extends into the gap in the axial direction.

    摘要: A brushless alternator includes a stationary field winding, a rotor, a stator, a rectifier, a terminal, and a protective resistor. The stationary field winding creates a magnetic flux. The rotor creates a rotating magnetic field with the magnetic flux created by the field winding. The stator includes three different-phase windings to generate a three-phase AC power in the rotating magnetic field created by the rotor. The rectifier rectifies the three-phase AC power generated by the stator into a DC power. The terminal is provided so that AC power generated by one of the three windings of the stator can be output from the alternator to external through the terminal. The protective resistor is electrically connected between the terminal and the one of the three windings of the stator to protect the alternator from electrical damage.

    摘要: A Lundell type rotor of an alternator has a rotor core disposed on an outer side of a field coil in a radial direction of the rotor, and a non-magnetic claw pole joint ring. The rotor core has claw poles disposed along a circumferential direction of the rotor at predetermined intervals. Each claw pole extends along an axial direction of the rotor and is magnetized in response to an electric current supplied to the field coil. The joint ring is formed by spirally bending a long band bar in a coil shape and has turn portions disposed along the axial direction. Each turn portion of the joint ring has no seams and is attached to inner side surfaces of the claw poles in the radial direction.
