    摘要: An image forming apparatus causes an illuminating unit and an imaging unit to equally split a predetermined exposure time into a plurality of split exposure times, and acquire an image with illumination and an image without illumination in each of the split exposure time. A luminance difference image for a particular split exposure time is calculated by subtracting the image without illumination from the image with illumination of the exposure time. The luminance difference images of all the split exposure times are integrated.

A head movement control section which controls movement of the head to a target position on a storage medium and a head unload control section unloads the head to an unload position based on (1) the time at which a drop or initial impact is first detected based on a signal output from the acceleration sensor and (2) threshold information, which includes a first threshold representing a standard strength of the signal output from the acceleration sensor at the time of drop and a second threshold representing a standard strength of the signal output from the acceleration sensor at the time of initially receiving impact.

By measuring distances to a capture target by use of the distance sensors, it is determined whether the capture target is held over the capture device in an attitude appropriate for the capture. When the attitude is not appropriate, a user is commanded to change the attitude of the capture target. When the attitude of the capture target becomes appropriate, the camera captures the capture target.
