摘要: A frequency data transmission and encryption system comprises a transceiver module. The transceiver module is configured to receive and transmit computer-readable instructions via transmission signals comprising two distinct signals having a first frequency and a second frequency different than the first frequency. The transceiver module is further configured to convert the two distinct signals to and from a first set of computer-readable instructions based on the first frequency using a first conversion method, and a second set of computer-readable instructions based on the second frequency using a second conversion method different from the first conversion method.

The second conversion circuit converts respective ones of the converted n samples of M-ary symbols into signals with L-patterned pulse width where n is an integer of 2 or more. The storage medium stores the converted n samples of signals with L-patterned pulse width. The controller circuit further includes an equalization circuit that equalizes signals read from the storage medium into the n samples of M-ary symbols.

The circuitry is configured to ensure that the current to the magnetic oscillator does not inadvertently magnetize the write pole after the magnetic write pole has demagnetized.

摘要: Systems and methods for a providing a chirped current profile with an undershoot for a channel preamplifier are described. A method for writing bits in a magnetic recording disc may include applying an overshoot to a write current which is supplied to a magnetic writer of the magnetic recording disc and applying an undershoot to the write current after the overshoot is applied to at least partially de-saturate the magnetic writer. The method may also include writing a bit to the magnetic recording disc with the magnetic writer using the supplied write current. In some examples, the application of a short negative pulse after an overshoot portion of the write current waveform is delivered to the head during a write operation that writes the bit to the magnetic recording disc.

摘要: As disclosed herein a method for encoding information on tape using write offset gaps. The method includes receiving a request to write a dataset on a tape medium using a plurality of head groups, and identifying information to be encoded when writing the dataset. The method further includes determining a head group offset pattern that encodes the information, and writing the dataset using the head group offset pattern. Also disclosed herein is a method for decoding information on tape using write offset gaps. The method includes reading a dataset from a tape medium using a plurality of head groups, and determining a head group offset pattern used to read the dataset. The method further includes decoding information encoded in the head group offset pattern to provide decoded information. A computer program product corresponding to the above method is also disclosed herein.

摘要: Data detection capability is improved by whitening crosstalk noise from an equalization signal and detecting binary data. Each of a plurality of detection signals is input to one of a plurality of adaptive equalizers, and outputs of the plurality of adaptive equalizers are computed to obtain an equalization signal for returning light at the time of shining of light onto bounds including a target track subject to data detection and adjacent tracks of an optical recording medium having a plurality of tracks formed thereon. Crosstalk noise from the adjacent tracks included in the equalization signal obtained by this multi-input adaptive equalization process is whitened first, followed by a binarization process. Also, an equalization error is found, and supplied as a control signal for adaptive equalization. Further, a whitening factor updating process is also performed to adaptively update a filter factor of a whitening filter.
