The method comprises detecting a beam failure on a serving cell of the terminal device, the serving cell comprising at least one of a primary cell and a secondary cell serving the terminal device. The method further comprises in response to detecting the beam failure on the serving cell, generating a medium access control, MAC, control element, CE, the MAC CE comprising a field associated with the serving cell, wherein the field is set to be a predefined value indicating the beam failure. The method further comprises transmitting the MAC CE to a network device associated with the serving cell.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to handling wake up signaling in discontinuous reception. A method comprises determining, at an apparatus, whether an active time during which the apparatus monitors transmissions from a further apparatus overlaps with at least one occasion for monitoring wake up signaling. The method further comprises in response to the active time overlapping with the at least one occasion, skipping monitoring wake up signaling on the at least one occasion. Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and devices for transmission by selecting between uplink resources. According to a method implemented by a terminal device in a communication system, a configuration of a first resource is received from a network device, the first resource being a grant-free resource. An uplink grant is received from the network device, indicating a second resource for use in a transmission time interval. The terminal device determines, based on the configuration of the first resource, whether the first resource is available in the transmission time interval. In response to determining that the first resource is available and possibly in response to a predefined condition associated with a logical channel for the terminal device is met, the terminal device transmits uplink data to the network device using the first resource.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to beam failure recovery mechanism. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, there are provided an improved solution for reporting candidate beams in serving cells. If a beam failure occurs in a serving cell, the first device determines a candidate beam for beam failure recovery from a plurality of beams in the serving cell based on link qualities of the plurality of beams. The first device also determines a resource configuration for a random access for the beam failure recovery for the first device or a resource to be used for the random access, The first device further generates an indication for indicating a characteristic of the candidate beam or a characteristic of a beam for performing the random access, based on at least one of the determined resource configuration or the determined resource. The first device also transmits an identity of the candidate beam and the indication to a second device. The second device performs the beam failure recovery based on the candidate beam and the characteristic of the candidate beam.
